"She's going to lose her shit Millie." Shay said, laughing a bit.

"Okay, but in a good or bad way?" I asked, still listening as I tried my best on my Geography work.

"Cassie hates surprises, but I don't know, It'll probably be different with you."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I said, shaking my head.

"Well she obviously likes you Millie, I pretty sure she'll loose her shit in a good way." Shay smiled as the bell rang, signaling us to transition to lunch, finally.

I've been feeing a lot better lately, the cut on my stomach has pretty much healed completely, which means I can do a lot more.

The situation with my dad has been tricky, he's been calling me every twenty seconds trying to apologise and get Wyatt and I back there. I can't sit here and lie and say that I haven't considered going back, because I have. More than once. I can't help but realize that this is one of the few times that he's genuinely made an effort for me and Wyatt.

Cassie and the rest of the group say that they'll support me in whatever desision I choose to make, which is comforting. I finally have people on my side, it's refereshing.

Despite all of the chaos with my dad, I'm trying to keep happy for Wyatt's sake. Seeing me upset will only make things more difficult for him. He still asks daily about when we're going home to dad, and when he gets to see dad. It breaks my heart that he's too young to understand, but I want him to have a happy and healthy life, and that can't happen for either of us in my dad's current state.

As for my possible surpise, I think that I want to ask Cassie to be my girlfriend. I've liked her for months and ever since she kissed me, I kinda feel like she feels the same. So, that led me to prepare.

Ever since I was little, I always dreamed of the perfect love story, complete with the perfect love confession. I've been keeping things with Cassie fairly private, but I know how highschool can be. Rumors ruin relaitionships. Besides, I just want our realationship to be about us, not drama or any of that petty highschool shit.

Cassie has made it fairly clear she's not the biggest fan of sursprises, but I think mine might just be good enough to change her mind.

"Hey Walker." Cassie smiled as she walked out of her third period, I wait for her outside Mr. Greenaway's class everyday.

"Hey C, how was class today? Mr. Greenaway get any shittier?" I laughed, linking my hand with her's.

"Unfortunately yes, he assigned a new project due on Friday, so I can't come with you to work tonight."

"Cassie you don't have to come with me to work everyday. Those boys won't come back." I tried to assure her, rubbing the top of her hand.

"I just don't want them around you." Cassie insisted, guiding me to the lunch table outside.

"Hello my darlings, hope we're having a lovely day." Shay smiled, having a seat across from me.
