Holy shit.

I'm graduationg tomorrow.

No amount of experience or prepration will ever prepare you for the moment you leave high school. It's something about the transition between child to complete adult that nobody's ever truly ready for.

Despite all of the great times I've had in high school these past few years, I still find myself feeling unprepared, as if there's unfinished business I have to do.

Not only does mentally becoming an adult become a challenge, but physically as well.

I'm turning eighteen next week.

Anyways, I'm currently decorating my graduation cap with our entire friend group at our house, excluding Cassie as she was working.

"Here Millie, add some more glitter to your cap!" Evelyn suggested, handing me the container filled with gold glitter, one of our school colors.

"Thanks, these are going to turn out so cute! Omg, Sydney and Shay's are adorable." I smiled, pointing over to the girls that were showing off their caps.

As the held them up, they both fit together to create a heart, filled with photos of not only them, but all of us.

"I really love those, have any extra pictures to share?" Prescott asked as he struggled to add some colorful paints to his cap.

"Sure, here you go." Sydney replied, turning back to speak with Shay.

My cap had a purple and pink butterfly painted on it, with a few additional details along with it.

As I'm finishing up the last touches to my cap, I get a notification which seems to be a text from Avery.

you: sure, i'm gonna get wyatt up from his nap and i'll be right over.

I smiled lightly as I told everyone I had to leave and they all ended up packing the decorating supplies and heading out to Becca's.

Speaking of Becca's, I quit my job there about a month ago, we didn't need another income at the time but I'm think of picking up a job at our animal shelter later this month if I'm able.

Also, Cassie's been kinda secretive lately, but not in a worry kinda secretive, an interesting kind.

"Let's go Wy, Avery's waiting for us." I sighed as I picked him up from his toddler bed and grabbed my purse and keys before I brought him out to the car.
