I'm from the store with Ciara who has Demi,My cat in her arms as I carry the groceries. I've been talking less and eating less because I can't think straight.
We are walking home and Ciara is talking to me about whatever it is she's talking about. I can't seem to comprehend because I'm not paying attention. I'm still thinking about Marilyn and how "happy" she's trying to be without me.
We eventually walk past Marilyn and Richards house. They are outside with their kids and Richard spots us and waves.
I don't wave back,Ciara does.
"You look good!" Richard shouts out to Ciara who smiles.
"Geez,You look even better than I do!" She shouts back and there is a big smile that creeps up on Richards face.
Marilyn doesn't look so happy.
"Get in the car children, let's go," I hear Marilyn tell Madison and Reese who comply to her command. Richard waves Ciara goodbye, gets into his fancy car with Marilyn and they drive off.Happy are they?
"Crushes fade,Timmy," she tells me and I don't respond to her.
"I'm cooking," she informs me and I still don't respond.
She suddenly stops walking and I stop in my tracks to find out why.
"What happened? Why'd you stop walking?"
"I was saying some things you weren't responding to and you're asking me what happened?" She sarcastically replies . She's angry.
"I'm sorry. I just have my head in the clouds," I respond and she rolls her eyes at me and walks ahead.
She's upset but I've got better things to be upset about. Like Marilyn trying to move on. I don't need you to stress me even more,Ciara. You are the one who told me that you can take good care of yourself without any of my help.
So please move out of the house without me having to ask you about it. You are the landlord of that house now. If it's the rent you want paid in time,I'll give it but move out.
