Light. I see a light. Where am I? Heaven? Hell? Wait,if this were hell I'd be burning right now. Be logical,Timothy.
I just don't understand. I only hear a beeping of a machine and I look around to clearly see where I am and its in a hospital room. I'm in a hospital. I survived? But I died.
I remember withdrawing myself from reality. I died. The last image I have is Ciara crying. Speaking of which, where is she?
Did she leave me after realising that she made a huge mistake loving me and thinking I'll ever change again? I don't know where we were and where we were going the moment this accident happened. I only remember Ciara.
"You're awake," I hear a feminine voice. I look over to see who it is and its a crying Ciara standing at the door. The relief I feel upon seeing her here.
"You're awake," she says again and walks up to me.
She embraces me and sobs."I thought you died. I thought you'll never wake up even after a year of you being in a comma," she says.
I was in a comma?
"I was in a comma for a year?" I ask her and she lets go of me wiping her tears.
"Yes. I stayed with you here making sure you we're okay. I talked to you and told you about the new house that I bought. I'm so happy you're okay," she says overwhelmed. I weakly smile at her.
"Let me call the doctor," she says and walks out of the room to call the doctor. I'm alive. I'm so grateful for giving me another chance,Lord. The God Ciara is in love with, thank you.
The female doctor is examining my legs. I can feel her touch them but I can't move them.
"You feel this?" She asks poking them and I nod in affirmation.
"Good. It's good you can feel your legs. I can sense a little bit of moving but you're struggling. But don't you worry, you'll be able to walk again after consistent exercise and examining," she says.
"Thank you, doctor," Ciara appreciates the doctor.
"You'll be discharged on Monday. This is just a Wednesday so you will have an amazing pair of doctors who will take good care of your health. Welcome back,Mr Zolanski," she says and walks out of the room.
"Welcome back," Ciara says to me and I smile at her.
New Genesis,New Genesis. I can't wait to walk out of here to a new home Ciara has in store.
I can't wait to be somebody worth living with and worth loving. I will protect you Ciara, forevermore.
