Richard called Ciara and I over at his house because he has some company over. It's the police. The cops and detectives are at the backyard along with Richard, Ciara and I letting us witness what they have in discovery.
It's Zoes bracelet, ashes burned together with the dirt and the knife!
Where is the knife I used to kill her with? The knife I used was not prone to melt due to the fire so where could it be?
One officer looks at Richard irritated.
"This is the bracelet of the young lady you asked my team and I to look for but unfortunately you have her in your backyard. Burned to ashes."
"It's not me officer,I didn't do this to her,I swear," Richard says.
Ciara and I both know it's not him.
"Ciara would I do this to Zoe?" He asks looking at Ciara for an answer.
Ciara crosses her arms.
"You could. You abuse Marilyn so it's no surprise if you could do this to your children's babysitter," Ciara says to Richard who is in awe of her response.
One officer takes out his handcuffs and cuffs Richard. He tries to retaliate.
"Don't move,Mr Campbell. Whatever you do or say will be used against you in the court of law," the officer says and Ciara smiles.
"And if you think I didn't tell the cops you have always wanted to sexually harass me,you must be joking to think I'd stay quiet," she goes ahead speaking again.
I look at Richard and I pretend to shake my head in disbelief at him.
"How could you? I thought she was your friend," I say "disappointed" and at this point he is confused.
"Kaiser told me everything about you abusing her when I was in the hospital and so did Tara, Esmeralda and Rachel. You're a sick fuck! Those girls are young," she angrily says at Richard whose ashamed of himself now.
"Take him away," the head officer says and the two police officers take Richard away to his treason.
The officer looks at Ciara with a smile.
"Thank you for being courageous. The ladies testified against Mr Campbell confirming the allegations. You have to go home and relax," he says and Ciara nods in approval.
We leave after thanking the officer and his team who remain investigating.
I'm intrigued by how Gods favour is working to my advantage.
I guess there is a room for second chances.
