There were eleven T-70 X-wing fighters flying over the lake now. Coming from behind Finn, Han, and Chewbacca, thirteen TIE fighters emerged from the mountains.
"Go straight at 'em! Don't let these thugs scare you!" A rejuvenated Poe encouraged the pilots flying behind him.
Poe was the first to begin the assault. He spun his ship to avoid a TIE fighter's cannons, and began chasing the starfighter, effortlessly shooting it down and chasing down another, repeating the process. Poe relished in the feeling of being watched by ally, civilian, and enemy alike, feeling almost invincible in his ship. Seeing a group of stormtroopers gawking at him, Poe locked onto them with his targeting system and took them out, sending the soldiers and debris into the air.
Finn, Han, and Chewbacca quickly got their respective weapons and scattered. Finn reactivated the lightsaber and looked up in the sky, seeing a dogfight occurring as X-wing fighters chased down TIE fighters and vice versa. At the same time, three Corellian B6 Nokra transports were descending onto the battlefront. These Nokra transports consisted of duraplast, and as such, were white. Nokras were also parallelepiped-shaped ships with arched windows on their sides. After they landed, armed militants sprinted onto the battlefield with a unified shout, firing on the remaining stormtroopers.
The Sentinel troopers from the first two transports wore deep red military fatigues with black tactical vests. On these vests, as well as on the soldiers' straps, were numerous pouches, presumably carrying ammunition, sidearms, and stim canisters. These soldiers also wore goggles and brown cloths to completely mask their identity. Coming out of the third Nokra transport was another batch of soldiers, like their cloth-wearing counterparts, they wore the same type of uniform and protection. The one thing that did stand about this variant was that they wore black plasteel helmets and masks. Of those that Finn could identify, he saw soldiers ranging from humans, iridonians, umbarans, to kyuzo. Two soldiers stood out however. An ishi tib looked to be instructing the masked group, while a human looked to be instructing the others.
"Array One, take control of the eastern sector!" The male ishi tib shouted.
"Array Two, on me, we're capturing the west!" The female human announced afterwards.
A stormtrooper took a shot at Finn, which he dodged. He sprinted at the trooper and sliced their weapon apart before foot sweeping them. Han and Chewbacca continued shooting down the stormtroopers, ignoring Finn's methods entirely. In time, the battle was coming to its end; stormtroopers were retreating into the forest after being ordered to do so by their commanders. The Sentinels all gave a triumphant cheer afterwards, raising their varied blaster rifles skyward. Others approached their presumed friends and began talking to them. By now they were taking off their helmets or undoing the meticulously wrapped cloths as they took drinks from their canteens.

"The map. . ." Kylo Ren said, still holding his hand in front of Rey.
Rey looked terrified now, still trying to move the arm that held the blaster.
"You've seen it. . ."
"Sir!" A stormtrooper captain called out to Kylo Ren, accompanied by a FN stormtrooper. "The Sentinel fighters have forced us into the forest."
This abrupt distraction made Kylo Ren quickly stop his search through Rey's mind.
"Pull the division out." He told the stormtroopers. "Forget the droid, we have what we need." He said as he looked at Rey, then forcing her into unconsciousness. He picked her up and began walking toward his shuttle.

With the battle at its end, with the last TIE fighters flying out of the area, the Sentinel troopers began searching for survivors and carrying them to designated spots for medical aid. Finn sat down on a pile of rubble, looking at the Sentinels, the bodies of stormtroopers, and then at the lightsaber in his hand. Then, Finn looked up in the direction of the vacant Upsilon-class shuttle, where he saw a hooded figure carrying an unconscious Rey. Finn, now alarmed, began sprinting towards the shuttle as it rose into the air.
