While the star destroyers were clearly of Imperial design, the carbon gray capital ship behind the other three was what caught the scouts' attention. Stationed miles away from the command center, wearing camouflage military fatigues with brown boots and gloves, the soldiers used their electrotrinoculars to make sure what they were seeing was correct. In greater detail now, the scouts analyzed the starships. The latter in question resembled the general shape of an arrow; a long body with four large wings in the very back.
"That's not the Republic. . ." One male soldier realized, looking at his fellow infantrymen. "Alert the Colonel! Now!" He shouted, before using going back to observe more starships exiting hyperspace.
The other scout next to the one who gave the order pulled out a communicator.
"Colonel! Code SI! I repeat, Code SI!"

After the news was quickly passed onto Archon Harira, he darted towards the Command Center where Organa was.
"Sound the alarms!" He shouted, with pilots, the Council, and soldiers alike looking at him with dread. "CODE SI! CODE SI!" He cried out.
One officer dashed toward the alarm controls, shoving a soldier aside as she sprinted for the controls. Entering a three-digit code, she activated the blaring alarms. In seconds, the sirens, placed around the base, unleashed ghastly wails.
"CODE SI HAS BEEN INITIATED! I REPEAT, CODE SI HAS BEEN INITIATED! ALL CAPTAINS AND OFFICERS ARE ADVISED TO GRAB GET EVERY SOLDIER ONTO AVAILABLE SHIPS." A disembodied male's voice said loudly over the sirens, repeating this several times.

Inside the unknown flagship, known as the Cruciger, a Stiletto-class battleship, Hux and Edrison Peavey, a member of the Cruciger's senior staff, were looking down at D'Qar from the bridge's window. Edrison, an Imperial veteran, had graying blond hair, blue eyes, and light skin. In addition to that, his military cap had a small pin of the First Order's insignia on it. Hux walked over to the window and stared down at the ringed world intently.
"This is a day your Empire could only dream of, father." Hux murmured to himself, not blinking as he spoke.
Just then, a hologram of a naval officer named Moden Canady appeared on the bridge behind Hux. Canady, another Imperial veteran, was a human with short red parted hair and sky-blue eyes. Like Edrison, he wore the same type of naval tunic.
"General Hux?" Canady said, getting Armitage's attention. "Do I have the order to send our TIE fighters?"
"Yes, begin the aerial assault now. Cut them off before they can attempt to escape." Hux ordered.
"Right away, commander." Canady acknowledged with a nod before the hologram disappeared.
Inside Canady's star destroyer, the naval officer looked genuinely surprised by his commanding officer's tactics. Being older than most colleagues during the mission, Moden expected any of them at any minute to make idiotic decisions.
"Sir, if I may ask, why aren't we sending in our starfighters?" Peavey inquired.
"Because we have payload in our ventral hangars that'll be protected by Canady's TIE fighters. If all goes to plan, Ahvaht will fall in no less than an hour."

Poe, who had stopped what he was doing to gaze up at the star destroyers like everyone else, ran toward the command center to find Leia and Syrtis.
Dameron quickly spotted Archon Syrtis directing a group pushing cargo onto the Kearsarge freighters.
"Archon Syrtis! Where's the Grand General?!" Poe shouted, looking around. "She's already boarded the Altruist! Call your squadron and defend our transports!" Syrtis ordered.
