Eleanor
The dragon's crystal blue eyes glimmered like that of the ocean when reflected with light.
It boasted its white ivory scales in its trunk and tail in glory. It stood with power and elegance with a height of around 5 meters.
"Lumena, thank you for coming." The woman spoke softly to the dragon with warmth in her eyes while stroking its cheeks.
The dragon responded with a few huffing sounds.
"Please.. bring Eleanor to a safe place"
She paused.
"That is.. my last favor to you." The woman uttered with a sad smile.
With that, she turned to her baby to give her one last kiss on the forehead.
The baby, kind of sensed that her mother was leaving her, so, she started whimpering.
The woman, with tears in her eyes gave the basket to Master Edsley.
She watched as he hopped to the dragon's back and strapped the basket in front of him.
A glowing magical rope suddenly appeared that Master Edsley took to hold on to while riding Lumena. The dragon started to flap its wings and ascended unto the sky.
The scene showed the woman who was left standing still weeping, holding her arms as if to comfort herself.
Then she grew smaller and smaller as the dragon flew further away into the horizon.
With Master Edsley flying on a dragon with a baby, they flew high over mountains and fields, passing by clouds of different shapes and sizes while a dark orange sunset painted the sky.
Finally, they came to a stop near a rocky mountain and landed on a pale grassy plain.
In front of Master Edsley and the dragon was a huge single stonehenge-like rock formation with unreadable markings all over it.
Markings that seemed to be a spell? Or maybe the language used in this kingdom.
It was old and seemed very ancient since vines and weeds were growing out of it, circling around and beneath it.
The whole place was filled with only silence, as if no living creature dared to live near it.
The younger Master Edsley, still at the back of the dragon, closed his eyes. He muttered some gibberish words that I couldn't comprehend. He then stopped and opened his eyes.
The markings on the rock formation suddenly lit up as if it was activated and a black hole appeared in the middle of it.
The dragon, together with younger Master Edsley and the baby, flew through the black hole and disappeared instantly without any trace.
Within a few seconds, they were greeted by the beautiful mountains and blue seas of the earth.
A portal to earth.
After some time flying, they landed on a place filled with small houses and streetlamps, which looked exactly like my hometown.
They stood before an orphanage--the orphanage where I came from.
Master Edsley stood at the door with the basket.
It was probably around midnight since the sky was still pitch black.
He looked at the baby and took a glance at the paper that the woman snuck in.
At first, it was in strange letters just like in the stonehenge. Seconds later, it lit up and the symbols turned into English letters and read:
