Clyde
"They rode a what?!" I asked the prince once again as he came back alone, without the two.
The prince was about to reply when Khalil interrupted us.
"Hey Clyde, the duke just sent me a message that they will be having a free ride on a griffin, they'll probably be back at night.. so we'll just go ahead." He declared.
I put my face on my palm. The princess's antics truly knows no boundaries. Well, maybe she didn't know. I sighed.
"You can go ahead Khalil. I'll just have to follow them to Pagos tonight."
"To Pagos? Why?" He asked, surprised.
"Griffins are like a one-way train. They don't roam around the skies for a few minutes just for a free ride." I replied, knowing full well how griffins operate.
"And they wouldn't bring a person back to its kingdom unless with someone from Pagos." I added.
"I'm sure she'll be fine.. she's with the duke. And I'm quite sure Master Corin will offer them a ride back." Khalil reassured me.
I started retreating towards the carriage and blurted out, "I also remembered I have something to do in Pagos."
I entered the carriage, leaving Khalil in a frown, and the prince waving goodbye.

It was midnight when Sir Galahan and I arrived at Pagos. We looked for an inn to stay for the night.
I was preparing for bed, when Sir Galahan suddenly spoke, "I apologize for having to intrude Master Clyde," He paused, I sensed that he was a little bit anxious to speak.
"But may I just ask, what are we going to do here, in Pagos? Aside from fetching the princess?" He asked, curiosity in his voice.
"There's a legend a long time ago, that there is a certain place in Pagos filled with strong mana." I replied.
"I'm just taking this risk to find out if it's real." I answered with a small smile.
Sir Galahan understood and nodded, then went directly to sleep, his sword rested on the wooden wall beside him.
When the morrow arrived, we immediately left the inn and proceeded to the Kingdom Hall where the officials come to work.
Last night as we were traveling, I already sent a message to Master Corin that I would be meeting them there, and that I apologize for the inconvenience the princess might have caused.
I loosened my collar a bit to rub my neck.. and probably to rub away stress.
The princess, Duke Damian, and Master Corin were already on the steps of the Hall when we arrived.
"Clyde! What are you doing here?" The princess exclaimed in surprise.
"We came here to fetch you, princess." I replied as a matter of factly while looking at her, then at Master Corin, hoping she gets what I mean.
After a short while, she finally realized it and apologized to Master Corin.
"I truly apologize Master Corin. I got carried away when I saw the griffin and couldn't contain myself. I promise it won't happen again." The princess stated, looking very apologetic.
