"He split his soul?"

"Malfoy."

Mattheo stood with his hands at his side, uncomfortable and tense. He wanted to be alone, instead he was stuck with one of the Malfoys.

The end of the cigarette falls with flickering, orange light dying off the tobacco as it falls to the paved ground of the terrace, while the smoke lifts mixing into the clean oxygen.

"Riddle."

He stood against the door not knowing if he should leave, that's when she extended a cigarette to him. She knew he smoked, she had seen him hiding away from professors, sneaking around the castle. Trying to avoid getting them taken away.

He took out his lighter and lit the end.

They stood there, frozen and slightly uncomfortable.

"So how was your-"

"We do not need to make unnecessary small talk." Astra said, taking a long drag of the cigarette. Her eyes focused on the constellation on her zenith.

His attempt had failed and he was certainly not going to try again.

Astra stared at the stars looking at the constellation in the clear sky, she was lucky to have such clear nights, for it was uncommon in London.

"Did you know that the zodiacs are some of the oldest constellations." She said stiffly.

She looked at Gemini, she could only see part of it due to the month of February.

"Did you know that there are many cultures that believes the zodiac you're born under have an effect on your personality." She said a unhumorous laugh as she finished the sentence.

"It's all rubbish."

Mattheo looked at the girl, he simply looked at her as he tried to piece together, what she was trying to say.

"I am a Gemini, so is Draco, Lynx is a Leo. Ravenna is a Scorpio. You are as well." She turned her head to look at him.

"I don't know how you too work so well," she said taking this moment to think, "but you two do."

She looked at the star Sirius, a familiar star. One she had seen a million times, as her mind drifted to her late, second cousin. One that always left her wondering what the man was really like. One she'd look at with the telescope she had been given for Christmas when she was 11, over million times.

"Don't hurt her."

He looked at her, and somehow in that moment he understood what she was saying. She understood he would never hurt her, she was telling him not to be Ravenna's destruction. She was asking him not to ruin the Lestrange girl.

"I won't." He said.

Her eyes left the big white star and toward the boy, with an inhale through her nose she got up, making her way to the other door that lead to Tom's room.

She left without another word.

"Everything ready to go?" Mattheo asked no one in particular.

He was on edge, he wanted to leave and Ravenna could tell. She proposed leaving at Breakfast to everyone and they all agreed.

So they all gathered their belongings, Ravenna helped Mattheo shut the door on his childhood home.

They held hands as they walked down the stairs to the parlor.

Ravenna's arm had been wrapped in medical bandage and not taken off ever since Theodore had wrapped it, so she hadn't even seen it. The only reminder was the dull pain that consumed her body and how weak she was in her right arm.
