Ravenna woke up to no light peaking through her curtains. She looked at her clock, it reads five-thirty.

She has half an hour before the day wakes up. She got up, put on a gray jumper, putting on some black shorts. She makes sure to grab her wand, and picked up Samael, who was quietly sleeping on her pillow feeling as the kitten purrs in her arms.

Ravenna walked through the halls of the unforgiving mansion. The girl walked down the stairs but just as she was about to descend the last step she heard a creak. She froze, looking around for the source of the sound. She felt watched, to be fair she felt like she was being watched all the time.

The girl found her way outside, walking through the grass that held fresh morning dew. She walked to the side of the manor seeing her way to climb up to the roof. She put her little kitten safely in her hoodie, grabbed the wood that had deep green vines knitted through the timber. She made the ascend, climbing two stories on nothing but some shaky wood.

She looked at Samael, making sure her little rebel's okay, not only was he okay he was chewing on one of her hoodies strings that had found it's way between her shirt and the material of the hoodie. He looked innocently at the girl, chewing it with no remorse. She smirked slightly.

She stood on the wood, walked on the roof making it to a good spot to watch the sun. She sat on the wood, shivers ran up and down the spine from the morning air. She pulled out her tiny cat from the soft hoodie. She put him on her legs, petting his soft fur as she watched the sun wake up.

She did this often, wake up before the day. She'd greet it good morning. She felt sympathy for the sun, everyone always talks about how great the moon is. They never talk about their appreciation for the sun.

"Good morning." She said politely under her breath, as if it was meant for only the sun to hear.

The listened to the birds waking up, singing their morning songs. The dew rolls off the leaves, pine, and grass. The sun showing it's self just above the trees. Ravenna found peace in watching the world wake up.

She looked down at the soft fur in between her fingers. He was asleep, curled in a ball of warmth. A light-bringer.

Ravenna smiled to herself. She liked this. She liked to know she was the only one to see this.

She sighed, placing Samael back in her warm hoodie. She knew that the household would be waking up soon. The girl made her way down from the roof, stepping back down onto the dewy grass. She turned the corner and froze.

There stood Tom Riddle, leaning against the outside of the Malfoy Manner. He held a smug smirk. She glared at him before rolled her eyes walking on the other side of the raven haired boy.
