I'm the prettiest they come

Ravenna could feel herself waking up, not in the heavy, itchy blanket she was sleeping in the night before. No, now she was wrapped in warm, silk sheets.

Where the hell am I this time?

She slowly opened her eyes, blinking the sleep away as she looked around the room.

She was at the Malfoy Manor.

She prayed it wasn't a dream. She'd gotten far too used to the routine, a new family of the Sacred 28 every three months. The Averys had told her well in advance about this change, but she'd never take anyone's word as the truth. She never knew what was a trick or not.

Bouncing between mansions of the Sacred 28 wasn't the dream it sounded like.

Besides, it's not like they hold her she'd be coming home.

But oh well, they do say home is where the heart is.

She would get to see the only family she'd ever known today, after almost seven years. Draco, Astra, Lynx, and dear Narcissa, the only maternal figure she's ever had.

Her family.

Ravenna looked around the familiar room, black and white. Tall walls that come to a point at the top with sky lights. The walls are a slate white, black tile littering the floor. She lay there on a white bed-frame, looking out the huge windows that see out onto the large property that is Malfoy Manor.

The girl let her pale feet touch the frigid platform looking for at the clock of the nightstand, it reads six-thirty. She stood up, leaving the warm embrace of sleep behind her. Feeling dizzy as she stood but paid no attention to it.

She walked to the door opening it slowly.

Everyone's awake by now, rich people are always up early.

Except Astra.

Ravenna supposed that she shouldn't be surprised to miss her dear cousins, after all it has been close to a decade since she'd last seen them.

She walked through the silent hallway trying to find the stairs. It's been years since she's walked though here. She missed this. She missed her home.

As she approaches the stairs she sped up, her memory starting to come back to her. She could feel anticipation spreading throughout whole body. Happiness is a rare feeling when you've lived with Death Eaters for most of your life but she couldn't help but feel joy.

As she made her descend, Ravenna started to hear the sounds of mumbled talking. She headed to the sound, listening as it grows audible.

The girl turned down the corridor and there in the kitchen is the lovely woman, black and white hair, cooking eggs and toast. Lynx sitting at a black island counter, and Draco sitting with two other boys she didn't recognize.
