content warning: SMUTT, thank god we were getting bored and impatient writing it is so fun ;))
Ravenna laid next to Teddy, after telling her best-friend the events of last week. It took her a week to even speak of it, neither her or Mattheo had done more than look at each other with the same suspicious face.
Ravenna had never really understood how difficult it was to avoid his eyes until he started showing up for classes.
I guess he really did want to be on the team.
The betrothed both thought the other knew what the vision was. But it wasn't a just a vision, it was a memory. The thing that Ravenna feared most was that she truly didn't have any recollection of the young boy's face.
"And you have no memory of this?" Teddy said with Samael in his lap, petting the cat's silk-like fur. He was so accustomed to the Lestrange girl having a memory of an elephant, and to hear she didn't remember something so important was quite, unusual. More than unusual actually, and the more he thought about it, the less it made sense to the clever boy.
"You think I'd make something like this up?" Ravenna exclaimed, clearly frustrated. She paced about her room, desperate to find answers to the gaps in her mind.
She was more than frustrated, she was on the edge of a panic attack. She had every day, every minute, down to the very second of her life memorized. You could ask her what she had for dinner two years ago on a certain date, and she could recall it. She memorized every word her abusers said, every cruel, vain act they had, every attack to her body or mind. If her scars wouldn't tell her story, she could.
"Do you think he knows anything about it?" Teddy questioned, laying on her bed, watching the pacing girl.
"I honestly don't know." she stopped, standing a few feet in front of her feline and best friend.
Ravenna wondered if Mattheo knew. She didn't know what to think of the boy she had kissed; and that kiss.
The fucking kiss.
She couldn't even think about, not without having a headache. She didn't know if he felt the spark, but she wished to know if he saw exactly what she did.
"Well, why don't you ask him?" Teddy said smiling, knowing where it'd go, he knew things like that.
Ravenna nodded, too busy thinking about that stupid kiss to think about what her best friend was hinting to.
"You're right, in fact I'm gonna go right now and demand answers." she decided, marching to the door without even a goodbye to her best friend.
Theodore didn't mind, he smiled to the black fluff ball in his lap.
