Damn, my sister's scary.
content warning: penis joke? lol
Draco sat at a table in the Slytherin common room, surrounded by his peers, but not just any peers, the people who saw him act a fool at yesterday's party.
Except Primrose, that is. She had been avoiding Draco since then, and he couldn't blame her.
Draco's eyes darted around the familiar room, trying to focus on something other than his sister's patronizing glare.
Astra stood there with her arms crossed, waiting for Draco to at least apologize.
"Well, are you going to just sit there looking like a fucking imbecile, or are you going to apologize for what the hell happened last night."
Draco cringed at that statement. He thought back to yesterday, how many mistakes he'd made, he pushed himself over the edge. The person whose eyes he was avoiding most were Lynx's.
Draco couldn't look at him, the embarrassment being too strong. He felt like his father. His father must've done the same thing to him a million times. He was more disgusted with himself than anyone else could be. His worst fear was being like his father, and it felt like his nightmare was becoming a reality.
Draco drew in a deep breath, preparing to say words that he didn't say often.
"I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what?"
Fuck off Astra.
"I'm sorry for pushing you Lynx, it was mean, and you were only trying to help."
Astra looked at Lynx, he was clinging to her side, she had decided she wouldn't forgive Draco until Lynx did.
"I forgive you, but it wasn't okay. It really bothered me."
Ravenna was surprised at the kid's emotional maturity, the last singular interaction she had with Lynx being casual gambling. It shouldn't have been that big of a surprise, their whole family had basically raised themselves.
"I know, and it was wrong of me to take my anger out on you."
Draco felt sick to his stomach.
Accountability was not something he took often, and he was sure that he would be doing a lot of it for the next week.
Astra took one last look at Lynx, making sure he was okay, before asking him to go entertain himself with his friends on the opposite end of the lounge room.
Astra had tried hard to not slap Draco that night, only resisting because the youngest Malfoy was in the room. She stood from her spot which was at the end of the table facing her elder brother, placing both hands on the black wood, leaning down slightly, meeting Draco's eyes.
