As the meeting came to close, they all walked out of the plain, yet eerie room. Just as she walked through the doors, Ravenna stopped, taking a moment to preparing herself for what she was about to do.

She looked around, seeing Voldemort a few feet away at the doors that enter into the dining hall.

"My Lord," Ravenna paused, bowing her head in false respect.

"Might I talk to you, in private?" All of her friends looked up at this.

"Of course." Voldemort held a vile smile on his lifeless face, his teeth a deep yellow. His hands extended back into the room, silently guiding her to him. The girl didn't hesitate before walking in.

'What the fuck are you doing Ravenna?' She could hear his voice clear as day, in her head, hearing the agitation and slight panic in his voice.

He didn't care for her, but that doesn't mean he wanted her dead.

"I'm making a deal with the Devil.' and that was all the girl said before blocking the pestering boy from her mind.

Mattheo didn't know what the head-strong girl was going to do. He knew one thing, she had to play it safe. That much wasn't a question, he prayed that Ravenna would tread carefully.

They stood there for an hour, one hour of Mattheo being sick to his stomach, one hour of Draco asking every five minutes how long it's been, one hour of Astra thinking of everything that could go wrong but staying silent, lost in her own mind.

Even for Tom, it was an experience to see a dead Ravenna on the shining floors of the unforgiving mansion that Tom had too many memories in.

Tom was many things; cunning, intelligent, resourceful, intuitive, an ass.

Tom was one thing for certain though, he was secretive. But every time he was around the Malfoy girl, every time he looked into those ocean deep eyes that he knew hid a thousand secrets, a small part of him felt what he could only describe as anxious.

It was a nauseating feeling for somebody who had never had worry or even stress for that fact.

Tom didn't have anxiety, but with Astra, it was like he saw himself looking back in her cold eyes. He hated it. He hated that the girl had an effect on him. He had an effect on her as well. From the day they met, the day she blocked him from her mind, days before Ravenna showed up.

It was agitating for him to experience.

He wondered if it was because of the same reason; because they didn't need to read each other's mind to know what the other was thinking. Tom was pulled from his deep thoughts at the sound of the black doors opening, a small, pale looking Ravenna walking out.
