Ravenna got in the large tile shower, her shoulders letting go of tension she didn't even know she had, as she felt the warm water wash away the stress she's been feeling.
I'm home, she thought.
After she showered and finished drying herself off, she walked over to her trunk and put on an over-sized, cocoa-colored jumper, with fitted jeans.
The girl winced as the fabric ran over the dried scarlet cuts on her skin that she had drew with silver from the other day.
It wasn't really something Ravenna was particularly proud of, the things she did to herself, the pain she conflicted upon her own skin. It only happened when her mind got too loud, only by carving herself did she feel a sense of quiet, a sense of control.
It's okay. You're in control. Ravenna reminded herself, trying to calm down.
She shook off the throbbing in her arms as she muttered a quick hair drying spell. She put it in a loose ponytail letting the curls run. They are too difficult to deal with sometimes. She started putting on her makeup, trying to perfect it until she lost patience and gave up.
She opened her door it stepping out into the dark hallway. She was about to take another step when she bumped into someone.
"Watch where you're fucking goi-" She looked up seeing a shadow cast onto her by the one and only, Mattheo Riddle.
"Well, this not the sweet little thing I met down stairs." He said with a sly smirk, She glared right back.
He smells oddly good. He smells like fire. Like the feeling when heat hits your skin from a warm fire on a cold night.
Ravenna cringed, wondering why she suddenly decided to describe his scent like a fucking poet.
"I'm in no mood to mess around Riddle. Move." It wasn't a question. She wasn't joking. She wanted to see her family, as seven years leaves a lot of catching up to do.
She never realized how much she wanted to see Astra until now. She decided that's where she'd be headed, whether the pompous dickhead in front of her liked it or not.
"Now why would I do that? I'm quite enjoying my spot right here." He crossed his hands over his chest, the teasing smirk still evident on his stupid face.
His stupid, gorgeous face. What the fuck Ravenna? Calm yourself, whore. Ravenna needed her subconscious to shut up.
When she tried to escape him as well as her betraying thoughts, all Mattheo did was block her. He was confused as to why she can resist him.
