Tell them about my day and how I was feeling
"Damn it" Ravenna yelled.
It was currently Saturday, which meant they had been there most of day to sit and work on the cabinet.
Woo for me.
Sarcasm.
Ravenna and Mattheo took a break, having to leave and try food for their wedding at three. They had to go all the way to London to look at the food that some of the most high-end restaurants Britain had to offer for their wedding.
They were so very excited.
More sarcasm.
"Hey, maybe this is a good thing." He said, sitting on the floor with his back against a couch. "Maybe this means you won't have to get your Mark." He said suggestively.
"No, we both know I'm getting the Mark whether our task is done or not." She said in a sigh, putting his hand on her forehead, as if it could help her think.
"I just don't understand why the bloody thing won't work." She groaned in announcing.
Mattheo took in a sharp breath as his jaw clenched. Ravenna couldn't help but stare.
"Why don't" he said pausing his sentence as he stood, "Why don't we try one more time, and then get ready, pack our bags, tell Dumbledore we're leaving, and then get the hell out of here." He said as he grabbed a wooden block placing it inside the magic tool.
He grabbed his wand, whispering the spell under his breath as he pointed his wand to it, opening the cabinet he saw it disappear, he closed to door muttering the same spell, then he reopened it.
Just like all the other times before, there was nothing.
Great.
He walked over to her as she stared at the stubborn piece of wood. He stood behind her putting his hands on her waist, pulling her closer.
"Let's go get ready darling, it's gonna be a long weekend." She nodded, trying not to let the pet-name effect her. And ignore the way it made her stomach do a flip.
Shouldn't be that hard.
Ravenna couldn't help but feel embarrassed. When they first met, she was daring and full of nerve. His presence bothered her, she found him rude and cruel. Now, Ravenna found herself excited to be around him.
He's making me blush like a stupid schoolgirl. Because of a stupid nickname.
She sighed and after another moment she started walking away. In that hour they packed their bags for the weekend, letting Dumbledore that they had to leave for the weekend for "personal reasons", to which Ravenna then told him it was for the wedding.
It wasn't something they willingly went around telling people. Betrothals might have been more common within the Sacred 28, but at Hogwarts it was quite scandalous.
I have enough scandal to deal with.
Now they were in London sitting in a huge restaurant on a corner street of a beautiful street. Ravenna's mother, while mainly narcissistic, was the one that arranged the cake tasting and the hotel.
There sat Ravenna and Mattheo, being forced to try pieces of foods and treats and baked goods. She became instantly anxious to the unlimited amount of food in front of her very eyes.
This wasn't even the only one they had to come and taste test for. They were meant to see three more upscale restaurants.
Mattheo stared at the food in front of him, perplexed and extremely bored.
