Eros POV
_________________________________________________I stood Infront of my mirror, yesterday's events already gone from my mind.
Today was a new day and with this new day came new opportunities, ones that I was going to capitalize off of. Having the journalist here wasn't going as planned and I needed to fix it, she needs to finish that documentary within a time period.
I wanted to get her back on track and get my plan done and over with. Enough with this pity party I have going on, time to lighten things up.
I styled my wet hair, leaving it in it's natural curls then went to put my clothes on, I had on black crew neck t shirt and black jeans paired with a pair of black loafers. It was a casual look as I didn't have work today.
Satisfied with my look I exited the room heading straight down the corridor and for the second time this week I stood Infront of the little rabbit's doorway.
I knocked and her soft voice sounded from the other side with nothing but what I assume to be attitude.
"What? I'm busy" my eyebrow quirked up.
"Aren't you here to do a job Ms. Feretti?" I asked only to be met with silence, I decided to pride myself and walk away but was stopped by the door being opened.
I leaned on the wall at the other side of the corridor instead and stared intensely at her, she squirmed under my gaze and I smirked.
"Aren't we going to do anymore interviews?" I asked, shoving my hands into my pockets.
She looked down, contemplating but nodded reluctantly.
"I need to know something first" she said peeking my interest.
"Go ahead" a sigh escaped her lips and she met my eyes, emotions I'm not capable of comprehending swirling within them.
"What happened to Veronica Stone?" She asked, I was a little surprised that she would discover Veronica so quick but I knew it was inevitable.
I shrugged.
"Veronica meddled into things I warned her not to" I replied, vagueness obvious in my response, she deadpanned me and crossed her arms over her chest.
"That's gives away nothing Mr. Des'aire" She pointed out, I gave her a stern look of my own.
"That's the only explanation you need Ms. Feretti, now get ready I'll be waiting down stairs" I said pushing myself off the wall, turning my back to her as I was already over this conversation.
"You don't own me Eros" she bit harshly, I paused and looked back at her with a look I was pleased with as it made her look down in terror, depleting any little confidence she had.
I stalked over, towering over her like the massive man I knew I was. She didn't dare meet my eyes.
I brought my hand up to her face, gently tracing the outlines of her jaw then grabbed it between my fingers, forcing her to look into my eyes.
She gasped and grasped my wrist "need I remind you of who you are working for Ms. Feretti?" She shook her head.
I brought her lips up to mine and gave her a harsh kiss "good girl...I'll be waiting and don't make me come back" I warned then released her and walked away towards the stairs, it didn't take long for me to realize that a pair of eyes were piercing my back.
"Stop drooling Ms. Feretti" I threw over my shoulder with a smirk as I finally disappeared down the stairs.
I went to the coffee machine and made my morning Joe, soon after Romana was walking down the stairs, notebook in hand.
