"Stefen loves you."
"No he doesn't."
"Yes he does."
Silence.
"Nat is right. Stefen loves you."
"Shut up Railey."
"It's true."
"No it's not."
"How do you know that?"
"Because the alarm didn't ring in my heart."

Days turned to weeks and weeks to month, until time was closing in on our first semester exams. We had little to no time left, and yet no one was serious about the upcoming doom.
I had stopped sitting in the twin seats ever since Deborah left, having no interest to make a new friend amongst this lot. The few months I have spent with them, I had learnt a great deal about them all and although I shouldn't be judging, a part of me already knew they weren't the people that clicked with me.
All I had left of friends, was Nat and Riley.
So there I was, sitting on the third solo seat beside the windows with Nat and Riley to my right on the twin seats, and of course, Tessa and Anna behind them. Behind me was Meave and behind her Sofie, and although the girls were great, I no longer felt like I wanted to befriend anyone anymore.
The only people I especially spoke to were Nat and often Riley, but most of all it was always Nat, for she was the only one I was familiar with.
Little did I know, I was causing something I didn't even know what.
Being the only two students who were beginner French learners, the two of us had to ask each other for a lot of help, sometimes even needing to exchange seats with Riley or Anna or Tessa, whoever sat beside Nat in order to understand the messy subject better.
It was just an innocent thing, not much harm done, but soon, I would find out that some of the friends didn't like it. At least not Tessa.
Once the days break time had come to an end, I was just on my way to my seat when I heard the four girls come to a halt in their conversation, right the moment Nat said this. "Let's include Ariana too!"
Whatever it was that Nat wanted to include me in, she didn't wait for her friends to agree with. She was making up her own rules, and by the pissed off looks on Tessa and Anna's face, they weren't liking the idea at all.
"Hey Ari!" Nat called out with a smile, making me turn to her. The call was so loud that almost the whole class had heard it, signalling a certain someone whose eyes I could immediately feel upon me, but I couldn't care less. "Yeah?"
"Come over here for a sec!"
Abandoning my seat, I walked towards the girls and stood towering over them, until Riley scooted over in her chair with a smile, ushering me to sit beside her much to her other two friend's distaste.
"Yeah?"
"We decided," Nat begin with a smile on her face which didn't help in soothing the rough features on Tessa and Anna's face. "That we will all sit on the back raw tomorrow. What do you say?"
The excitement in Nat's face had me smiling, but I must say I was rather confused. "Back row?"
"She means to say the last row, the one at the complete last where no one sits but late comers, we will occupy it. The five of us." Riley explained, and as the words left her lips, my eyes only grew wide. "Wait, the five of us? All together? Can we do that?"
