BYERS RESIDENTS NOVEMBER 1984
Joyce let Mike and Jaime go inside her home. They looked around the house as it was covered in papers. They stepped over; it is trying not to destroy Joyce's work with whatever this was. "Woah," Jaime mutters
"What is all of this?" Mike says, looking as the papers connected and moved around the house.
"I'm not sure, Will drew these, and they connected to create this, B-But, But I'm sure what this is or what it means," Joyce clarified as she sat on the chair looking at the leftover papers she had not put on her walls.
"Maybe we can help figure out what these are," Mike says. "We want to figure out what's going on with Will, so maybe we can figure out what all this is?" Mike explains. Joyce just gives him a soft smile.
"Can we go see him now?" Jaime asked, and Joyce just nodded her head.
"B-But if anything goes wrong, please or i-if something happens please come to me ok tell me immediately," Joyce says as the two nod as they walk into Will's room.
Mike opens the door, and Will sits on his bed in his pjs. He looks warm. Looked like he was sweating a lot. There was a wet mark around his crew neck collar. He looked terrified, utterly terrified, but not only that he looked like only half of him was there, it was strange.
Jaime and Mike slowly walk into his room, shutting the door behind them.
"Hey Will, how are you feeling?" Jaime says, sitting next to Will on his bed. He looks over at her and they stare into each other's eyes. Jaime noticed his eyes were different, like actually a different colour. Before they were green, but now they were darker, almost a dark hazel colour.
Will looked like he was about to cry. "J-Jaime?" He stutters out, hoping for her to comfort him.
"Is it the shadow monster?" Mike asks Will to turn to him and nodded slowly. Jaime and Mike sit and listen to him explain everything that he's been feeling and what he's been experiencing.
"It's like... It's like I feel what the shadow monster's feeling. See what he's seeing," Will stutters out.
"Like in the Upside Down?" Mike says as he continues to trace the paper.
"Some of him there, but some of him is here too."
"What do you mean here?" Jaime says calmly.
"Like in this house?" Mike suggests.
"In this house and... In me. It's like... it's like he's reaching into Hawkins more and more. And the more he spreads, the more connected to him I feel,"
