HOPPER'S CABIN JUNE 1985
It was late at night, the three girls had gone back to have a sleepover at Eleven places aka Hop's cabin. The song Angel playing on the stereo, Max and Jaime jumped around singing along with the lyrics while El sat on the bed reading a super teen magazine. The girl flipped to a page that had a poster of a boy she didn't recognise, this caught Max's eye she stopped singing and giggled at her.
"Oh, you found Ralph Macchio." Max spoke, this caught Jaime's attention as sits down next to Eleven looking at the boy.
Eleven looked at the redhead confused by the name "Macchio?" She asked.
"Yeah he's the Karate Kid," Max explained before doing a fake karate move, making El and Jaime flinch. They giggled. "He's so hot, right? I bet he's an amazing kisser," Max sighs fondly.
"Maybe? I don't know I've never kissed anyone" Jaime said shyly
"Hey El, was Mike a good kisser," Max asked curiously.
The girl looks down and fiddles with her shirt "I don't know, he was my first boyfriend," El explained to the girls.
"Ex-boyfriend," Max corrected.
"Yeah, now that I think about it, I don't think I really liked him..." El confessed.
Jaime looked surprised "Really?"
El nodded, smiling a bit at her. "I'm glad he asked you out. You two are going to be different"
Jaime looked away a little sad, she wasn't even sure if her and Mike were going on that date at all. Max tried to cheer her up. "Hey don't worry about it okay? He'll come crawling back to you in no time begging for forgiveness, I guarantee you, he and Lucas are like totally wallowing in self-pity and misery right now, they're like 'Oh I hope they take us back!'" She exaggerates an impersonation of Mike and Lucas and the girl's laugh. "God what I wouldn't give to see their stupid faces," Max laughed and El looks down getting an idea
"I think I have an idea," El spoke as she got off the bed and walked over to the radio making it just make static noise. "I can see them if I use my powers," El says as she sits down, as she grabbed a blindfold and covers her eyes. Max and Jaime sitting down on the bed in front of her.
Jaime looked at El sceptically "Is this really going to work?" she asked El nodded
"Holy shit this is insane."Max jumped up and down excitedly
"Max," El sternly spoke
Max stopped immediately "Yeah, quite sorry," Max quieted down. The three of them sat silently but it wasn't long before Eleven found them.
