HAWKINS LAB NOVEMBER 1984
The sirens in the lab start blaring. Jaime looked up and around at her surroundings. Joyce looked at Will and then got up when Mike and Bob ran back to them. "What's going on?" Joyce stutters to Mike and Bob.
"We're under attack," Mike spoke. Jaime looked down at Will. He didn't look scared in the slightest. She got up and grabbed the anaesthesia and a needle.
Jaime turned back to them, showing the needle. "We have to put Will to sleep," Jaime says
"What?" Joyce says, trying to get her boy out of bed.
"He's a spy! The shadow monster can see us! He knows where we are!" Jaime yells.
Will sat up and glared at her. "She's lying!" He yelled.
"He killed those soldiers. He'll probably kill us too," Mike yelled.
"They're Lying! They're lying!" He screamed it over and over. Joyce didn't know who to believe, but she was starting to not trust her son. The loud banging of gunshots were heard throughout the building.
"Those are gunshots!" Bob yelled. As Will continued to scream 'They're lying' Joyce turned back to her son.
"Okay, Will, Will, listen. Do you know who I am?" Joyce called out to him. "Do you know who I am?!" she screamed
Will stared at her hesitantly "You're... You're Mum!" Joyce knew it wasn't him.
"Hold him down," she says calmly to Bob, getting up to grab the needle and anaesthesia that Jaime held. She grabbed it and stuck the needle, and went over to Will. He screamed, "I'm sorry!" She yelled as she stabbed the needle into his arm. Jaime and Mike huddled together as they watched their friend scream and cry out. He slowly dozed off.
The door opened to reveal Hopper and Dr Owens, some banging on the door, and Jim turned around to see those monsters trying to get in. "We gotta go. We gotta go," Jim says, running slinging Will over his shoulder. They ran out of the room, following Hopper. Jaime grabbed more of the drug bottles just in case and ran.
They ran down the hall and saw someone get mauled by one of the monsters. Behind them, gunshots as a guard tried to hold it off. They run into a room to the side of them. Locking the door.
"Oh my god," Bob gasped as he watched the security cams of all the smaller Demogorgon wandering the halls killing anyone they saw. The lights flickered, and the power shut off.
Jaime tried to calm down, but it felt impossible. She was so scared that she and everyone she loved were going to die in those few moments.
"What, now how do we get out?" Jaime says, Dr. Owens rummaged through the desks and pulled out some papers. They were maps of the lab. He pulls a pen from his jacket.
