HENDERSON, GONZALEZ RESIDENTS JUNE 1985
Jaime lay down on her pastel purple bed, kicking her feet as she read a magazine stereo going on in the background. Her room was still purple, and she still had some of the same posters, like her alien one, but there were new ones, musicians like Madonna and ABBA dawned on her walls.
So much had changed in 6 months. Dustin and Jaime were now living together, their parents decided to move in together after such a successful relationship.
Claudia Henderson, her dad's girlfriend, seemed really nice and all but Jaime couldn't help the feeling that everything was moving so fast now. 6 months into a relationship and you're already moving in with one another?
And there was no warning either. At least Dustin and her got to hang out more. Everything was changing and she didn't want to object because her dad was happy and that meant everything to her.
As a shock to no one, Max and Lucas were now a couple. Surprisingly, though, Mike and El weren't, at least not anymore. They dated for a month, then they both broke it off. Jaime still has no idea why, guess they just weren't a good match.
A loud knock interrupt Jaime's reading. Her head turned to the window to see the one and only Micheal Wheeler at her window. Jaime rolls her eyes and rolls over her bed and lifts the window. "Micheal Wheeler, How many times have I told you to be quiet?" She giggles as he jumps into her room.
"I don't see the problem. We've been friends for ages," He smiled as he sits down on her. bed, taking her hand she sighs.
"Because it's past 5 pm and you still weren't here, you know how my dad is," She complains.
"I'm sorry, please can you ever forgive me?" He begged dramatically.
Jaime slowly turned towards him "Hmmmm, only if you buy me snacks," Jaime smirks.
Mike smiled "Look like you've already forgiven me, because I came prepared" Mike said showing her the snacks he got to sneak into the movies.
Jaime looked up at the clock. "Oh my god, Mike we're going to be late!" Jaime quickly gets up and grabs her purse and Mike sighs, getting up from the bed. They climbed out the window They both get on Mike's bike and ride to the new mall, Starcourt. _________
The two of them arrive at the bustling mall covered in neon lights known as Starcourt. Mike parks the bike and they quickly got off being met by their friends, Lucas, Max and Will. "You're late, Again," Lucas says not surprised, Max and Will also didn't look impressed with the two.
