Ever since the events of the morning the skies have turned ever more darker, thunder roared for miles and miles, strong gust of winds swept through the streets, knocking anything down that was not nailed or cemented down, but what was worser than the bad weather was the horrific events happening in the streets of Paris, Quasi didn't realise what was going on until mid-day when he saw the first glimpse of the orange flames the near enough reached the sky, he watched in horror as the flames spread from household to household, by the time it was supper time most of the town was in flames, smoldering in smoke or turned into ash, all that could be heard outside was the screams and cries of women, men and god forbid children who screamed bloody murder.

Yet through all of this Quasi tolled the bells, like it was an usual day, but his heart was torn, he couldn't help but worry about Anya, he prayed to God that she was nowhere near the hungry flames, he didn't know if he could survive life without her, all sorts of emotions was running through his mind, he didn't quite understand what was going on, for he had never felt like this before and never wanted to feel, even though he was doing his usual routine he felt like it was a struggle, his heart was crippling him and he did not know how to cope, since he had finished tolling the final bells, he walked up to his wooden replica, his eyes felt dry, red and swollen as he had been crying through most of the day, he slumped into his stool and just rested his face in the crook of his arms, without realising he was falling asleep.

He whispered curious to see if it was her, he looked to the entrance of his Quaters to see Esme, part of him felt sad that it was not Anya but he was always happy to see Esme "Oh Esme its y-y-you, I'm g-g-glad to see y-y-you" he said as both Esme and Quasi embraced in an friendly hug, the hug lasted a second or two before Esme smiled at Quasi before saying "you have done so much for me already my friend, but I must ask for your help one more time" "yes, a-a-anything for you" he said, just then Esme's smile dropped as she ran over to the entrance, just then Quasi saw one man dragging an unconious body in, he recognised the unconious man, it was the guard who wanted to see Esme, Quasi noticed he was in bad shape, he also saw Djali following close behind "This is Phoebus, he is wounded and an fugitive like me, he can't go on much longer, I knew he would be save here, please can you hide him?" She begged Quasi, that is when he signalled Esme to follow him.

He offered his bed to Phoebus, as Esme and the strange man placed him on, just then he started to come to, Quasi couldn't take his eyes of Esme and Phoebus as she sitched his wound, he could clearly see the spark between them, that is when he heard Esme say to Phoebus as she had finished sitching his wound "your lucky, that arrow nearly pierced your heart" she had said with concern, just then Phoebus had held onto Esme's hands placing them on his heart center "I'm not so sure it didn't" both Esme and Phoebus stared at each other lovingly before embracing in an passionate kiss, Quasi realised that Esme and Phoebus were in love, he was happy for Esme and Phoebus, he couldn't help but think of doing the same to Anya, that is when it hit him, he leaned on an pillar to steady himself, why had he been so blind? He didn't see Anya as a close friend... He loved her.
