Chapter 16: We always meet in the unexpected day.

"WHY your eyes aren't that lively? Why those eyes looks like they're.. died?" He asked while looking at her empty eyes.

She looked away. "I don't know what you're talking about." her cold voice shock him.

"Why are you being like this?" he can't stop himself from being annoyed. Her forehead frowned like as if she didn't want what she just heard.

"What do you mean?" her empty eyes start to look at him. "Why am i being like this?" She emphasize the word. "What's with you? Have you forgot already?" Then she start laugh sarcasticly when he didn't answer. "You betrayed me." her voice cracked, as if he really hurt her big time.

"I-I didn't meant to do that一" she cut her words.

"No, i know you have your reason but you're just fucking afraid to spill it."

"You don't understand" he shake his head. "Even though i explain you my reasons, you will not understand.." he saw how her eyebrows move, like as if she heard something she didn't want to. "Because i" he pause and sigh. "I don't understand myself, either.."

Shakira shook her head like as if he said something wrong. She slowly step back一 giving him so much distance.

"You.. You forgotten about something important." her eyes sharpened. "You're not just betrayed me.. You also betrayed my family.." then she run away.

He stunned.

He couldn't move because of what he just heard.

There's something about that word hurts him and there's something about shakira's eyes that hurts him even more.

'Who am i to forget about betraying you? I'm always remember that because the expression you shown always hunt me..'

His jaw clenched when the memories he want to forget appeared in his mind.

"Dude, you okay?" He turned to khironny who looked at him worriedly.

"She's back, right?" he ask like as if he's not in his self.

"I don't know.." khironny said while shaking his head.

NAPAUPO si Shakira sa sanga ng isang malaking puno na nakita niya sa daan.

Sobrang bigat ng puso niya at alam niyang hindi pagtulog o maging ang pagkain ang magiging solusyon n'yon kundi isang bagay lang..

Isang bagay na alam niyang imposibleng mangyari.

"Just.. Just let me see everything and I'll try my best to understand every detail of it." pumikit siya ng madama niya ang isang malakas na hanging nakapagbigay ng kilabot sa katawan niya kasabay non ay ang paglitaw ng isang alaalang parang isang sulyap lamang.
