My sixth period history class felt empty with out Derek. Oddly enough I actually wished he had this class. I twirled my pen around my fingers trying to focus on what Mr.Bush was talking about. The thought of Derek's lips and his charming gave me more butterflies than I already had. I but my lips at the thought of his soft lips brushing against mine. I keep imagining how he looks at me. I don't understand how I could feel like this towards him. We just met and I am already imagining kissing him.
What is wrong with me!
Before my thoughts could take me any further Mr. Bush's finally spoke.
"Alrighty students welcome to social studies. I am Mr. Bush and in this course we will be going through the US government." Mr.Bush stated.
The rest of class flew by and I didn't even notice the time. The bell rang and startled me out of my day dreams. Finally it's the last period of the day and of course it's Gym class. As I walked into the gym my feet squeaked across the floor. The crowd of students gathered around the gym coach. I looked up and saw Derek grabbing a gym uniform and heading into the locker room.
"Everyone make sure you grab a uniform because changing out is apart of your grade." Said the gym teacher.Derek is in this class too? How weird?
I grabbed the gym uniform and it was a Burgundy tee shirt with black shorts. I walked into the locker room and noticed Aria was also in this class. I ignored her and tried my best to stay away from her. I put my stuff in a locker a few rows away from her.
"So Aria is after you too?" A girl said next to me shutting her locker.
"Well not really but I don't like the way she's looking at me. I mean I feel like her next victim or like her prey." I shuddered at the thought.
"You probably are her next victim. She picks the people who she thinks are the easiest to manipulate. She tried that on me a few times and I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to kick her ass." The blonde girl glared at Aria.
"So...what's your name?" I asked politely.
"Adelaide, but you can call me Ade." She held out her hand."I'm Alexia but I go by Alex. It seems like we both like the shorter version of our names." I smiled.
"Ain't that the truth! Well I better get going I have show these girls how to play volley ball. Do you want to play?" Ade's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Well actually I kinda busted my head this morning and I probably shouldn't work myself to hard." I said tying my shoes.
"It's your loss! See you later!" She walked out of the locker room.
"Alright time to go play some games." I dusted of the shirt and pulled my hair back into a ponytail.
Then a locker slammed right behind my piercing my ears."I am going ahead and giving you a warning. Stay away from Derek!" Aria hissed.
"No, what are you Derek's keeper?" I walked away from her and another girl blocked the exit.
"Listen sweetie, this is my school! I run this place and Derek is off limits! You hear me? This is your one and only chance to back down." Aria angrily got in my face.
"In that case I guess I'll just stay out of your way. You know since it's your school and all." I smiled bitterly.
No way I am backing down! What's the worst she could do?
