A/N: To lovely readers, and followers, I deeply apologise for not being able to update last week, as per mentioned on my profile, I was away on a mini holiday to visit family, and wasn't able publish as per usual. However, I was able to write a short fictional piece during writing group  this afternoon. I hope you all enjoy it, and wish you all a wonderful week.

CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER rose up the beach at sunrise along white, yellow sands. Barely a soul to be seen for miles. Only the sound of waves crash against the shore, seagulls cries overhead, and sealife of crabs scuttle into safety of the sea, least be stuck in rock pools for hours on end, when humans wonder about.

Then the first person sets foot on the beach, going for an early morning jog as the tide receded downwards, their feet pounding along the soft, wet sand, leaving foot prints in their wake, only to be erased with water. And then another person, accompanied by their partner, and Labrador receiver, silky, soft golden fur, strolling along the beach, taking sweet time to admire the beautiful lightening sky blue, and many colours reflect on the water.

Very soon, lifeguards set up for the day, more people came, and went. Whether for exercise, a stroll, swimming in cold water, work, build sand castles, sand painitings, even attend a meditation class on the sand. Off shore, sailboats, and ships glided across the water, with unknown destinations, fun, or finding catch of the day. Something for everyone.

On the edge of the jetty, a young woman rested her elbows against the wooden railing, gazing solumnly out to sea. She had lost someone close to her, and needed time to herself, and decided to go for a walk, her feet taking her to the jetty, to the edge of the pier. Her beloved grandfather, he used to love taking his fishing pole, bucket, and chair each morning, and sit on the end of the jetty, sometimes, on weekends, he would take her along to show her how to fish. She wasn't very good, but, it was moments like those that were special. She'd treasure them.

The End.
