Sparkling crystal clear water moving downstream, burbling and bubbling as it weaved between stones, very soon merging into a large lake in Blake's Park.
At the very centre was a small island with an old willow tree, it's branches filled with fresh green leaves, gently swaying in the light breeze.
A small boat gliding across the lake, two people, one was a male using a paddle to move the wooden boat across, a young woman, sat daintily, both taking in the beautiful scenery around them. Neither popped out a camera, or mobile device least fear it accidentally falling into the waters, and be lost.
Birds chirping, the two lovers gaze into each other's eyes. It was the perfect place away from the noisy sounds of the city, and busy country towns to relax.
All too soon, they reached the other side, and pulled up on the wooden ramp. They took one last look back at the watery paradise, and hopped out, back onto the sandy land.
Very soon, they moved the boat onto the trailer, secured and drove away. The memory of that romantic boat ride fresh in their minds.
Luckily this time, noone had decided to take a swim and tip the boat over from underneath, and knock them overboard.
The End.
