A/N: First and foremost, I apologise this isn't the part IV of Broken Window. It is taking me longer to complete it than first thought. It only needs a little more to tie everything together. However, I do have some new short stories to share until then. This will be a double update tonight. Secondly, I have been thinking long and hard about this, once I have finished Part IV and these stories. I intend to wrap up my book. And focus more on editing and write my other books here on Wattpad. Hope you all understand. Without further delay, let's crawl into Spider. It is fiction.

Warning: Will contain mention of spider and spider phobia.

...

IT WAS PITCH-BLACK IN THE BEDROOM. A young woman, and man were fast asleep under the light covers, on a warm summer night. The only sound was the soft whistling of the wind, a branch lightly tapped against the glass window. The man tossed and turned but eventually gave up and got out of bed. He slowly walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of H20, hopefully it should help him fall back asleep.

When he returned to the bedroom, his girlfriend, Casey was deep sleep, her face peaceful and angelic, without a worry in the world. That's when he noticed something move. At first he thought he was imagining things, but then he saw the dark shape move again, creeping ever closer to her face,

What was it?

He turned on the light and cringed. It was a daddy-long legged spider. If there was one thing he and Casey didn't like, it was arachnids, with their long hairy legs, beady eyes, leaving cobwebs everywhere. They were creepy. It seemed the spider was close to his sweetheart.

oh crap, if she woke up and saw it... she'd freak and scream bloody murder. Be worse if  one of them hit it and it's guts splayed on the bed.  He shook his head. He only had less than a minute to remove it. He looked around the room: A newspaper, and close to empty glass in his hand. He gulped. Moving quickly, with the parchment, he used it to sweep up the little critter under it, and place the cup over it. He felt a little guilty it would get wet. It may get stunned, but it bought him time.

He hurried outside, and discarded it into the garden. It lay unmoving. Oh no. please don't tell me I killed it. The spider twitched, slowly moving a limb. Taking in it's syrroundings and crawled away into the night.

Crisis diverted.
