It doesn't take us long to get to our destination, a late night cafe. There isn't many people inside as it's a hole in the wall kind of place. Bang Chan opens the door for me like the gentleman he is. He picks out a table in a secluded corner that hides us away from everyone in the cafe, but everyone here is minding their business.

The table had a QR code so I scanned it to look at the menu. We check out the menu before we decide what we want. Bang Chan takes my order and goes to the counter to order. It takes him a few minutes to come back with our food and drinks. I got a choco latte and a little chocolate cake. Bang Chan got a sandwich and an iced tea.

"Are you sure we're safe here?" I ask all of a sudden.

"Yeah," Bang Chan answers confidently. "I know the owner and he makes this a safe space for idols when they want to come in and just enjoy a cafe. That's why this place is open so late. I've brought my members here before and we've never had trouble with fans spotting us."

"That's good. I know what could happen if a fan takes a photo of us just being together. I don't want that for you."

"I wouldn't risk you getting exposed like that either. I made sure something like that wouldn't happen. I will keep you safe when you're with me."

"Good. I want to be safe with you."

"But my question is is how you haven't been photographed with Younghoon or any of the members from The Boyz if you're so close to them. I would've thought that you would be photographed with them if you go to schedules with them."

"It's all thanks to Cre.Ker. They have kept me safe with them. Most of the time, I look like their staff. I have a personalized badge that I wear to schedules and to the company building. And any photos with me in them gets immediately taken down. I am not allowed to be photographed nor filmed, but whenever I'm with them, I'm pretty close to them. I act like a PA to them and their manager. I was actually there through all of Kingdom. You wouldn't have seen me there since you guys were kept apart, but I was there. I was with Younghoon when he was injured."

"Wow. That's amazing. Do you go to all of their schedules?"

"Not all of them. I usually don't travel with them. When they did all of their overseas concerts and outings, I stayed here. Younghoon wanted me to come, but I didn't want him to have to worry about me traveling so I made sure he didn't persuade the company to take me with them. But that didn't stop him or any of the members from bringing me back every kind of souvenir they could find."

"So you're close with all of the members? Have you been around them since their debut?"

"Yeah, I've been with The Boyz since debut. I've been through everything. I was there when Hyunjun made the decision to leave the group. I remember holding Younghoon that day. Everyone cried so hard."

"I heard about that. It's not easy losing a member."

"Yeah. But they still keep in touch every once and awhile. I check in on Hyunjun when I can. He's a soloist now. I'm sure it's easier for him now than it was with The Boyz. I know he's dabbling in acting too."

"That's nice. You're so caring. Even though he's not a member, you still do what you can to take care of him in some way."

"Yeah. The Boyz are all of my little brothers so I like looking after them. I'm older than all of them so I'm their Noona. They all look to me for care when they can't turn to their families. They are my family."

"That's amazing. I'm glad you have a family like that behind you. I'm sure they're grateful to have someone like you on their side."

"I love those guys. Younghoon really made sure that I was sticking with him through him becoming an idol. He didn't want to let me go like how he had to let go of his family. And Cre.Ker accepted it. It's kinda crazy how they just let me into their company and treat me like their own. I am always grateful for the chance to be with my best friend and watch him be the man that he is."

Bang Chan rests his face on his hand as he watches me talk. Despite wearing a mask, I could see the smile in his eyes. I look away from him as I blush. He looks so attentive to what I have to say. We only really pull our masks down to take a sip of our drinks or a bite of our food. Just to be on the safer side.

"Enough about me and The Boyz," I say waving my hand as if erasing the conversation we were just having. "Why don't you tell me about your group? I don't know much about you guys."

"Well, as you know, I am the leader," Bang Chan says proudly. "JYP told me to make a group and I did. My members all play an important role in our group and I wanted them specifically for this group. Without them, we wouldn't be Stray Kids. Without them, I would be able to make music and do the thing I love the most. I owe everything to them."

"Aw... That's so sweet. You sound like you really love your members."

"I do. They've been by my side for awhile now and I wouldn't have it any other way. They've even been really supportive about me being a Daddy."

"Really? They know about you being a Daddy? Wait, do they know about me? I know one member does, but do the others?"

"Yes, they do. I kinda had to tell them after one of them saw a text message from you and practically told the whole dorm. It was partially my fault for leaving my phone lying around, but I was going to tell them eventually. If we ever got serious, that is."

"And are we getting serious, Bang Chan?"

I feel a shift in the conversation even though I asked that question jokingly. Bang Chan takes my hand and interlocks our fingers. "Yes, yes we are, but only if you want to, that is. I won't go any farther if you don't want to."

"I want to. I want to be serious with you."

I can see the smile in Bang Chan's eyes. He lifts our intertwined hands and lifts it up to his face. He looks into my eyes as if asking for permission to do something and I nod my head shyly. He kissed my back of my hand through his mask. I can feel my face on fire from that simple gesture.

"I'm happy to hear that, Ami. I really am," Bang Chan voices softly.

"I am too," I breathe out, agreeably. "I am too."
