Chapter 22: A Gift

"Why don't we have dinner?" Bang Chan suggests. "We still have our take out waiting for us."

"Wait, did you guys wait for me to come over so you could eat?" I ask, suddenly feeling guilty. "You could've eaten without me."

"That's okay, Noona," Jeongin assures me with a smile. "We wanted to wait for you so we could eat together."

"Did you eat before you came here, Noona?" Felix asks me,

"I actually didn't," I reply, feeling embarrassed. "I was busy working so I haven't eaten since lunch."

"Mimi, what did I say about skipping meals on work days?" Bang Chan chastises me. He gives me a disapproving look and it makes me feel bad.

"I know, Channie, but this article needed be finished by 5 and I was down to the wire. I was going to grab something to eat right after I finished, but then you texted me asking me to come over so I had to go out and get something to bring as a gift. I completely forgot about eating."

"But what did I tell you about procrastinating too? You said you were going to get this article done last night."

"I was going to, but Younghoon invited me to have dinner at their dorm and the Maknaes were blowing up my phone to come over so I had to and I ended up staying a little too late."

"What time did you go home last night?"

"I went home around 11 pm. Sangyeon ended up driving me home. Did you not get my texts last night? I knew you were up."

Bang Chan fishes his phone out of his pocket. I can see him scrolling through his phone to find those messages. He looks back at me with an embarrassed smile.

"You did text me last night," Bang Chan admits with a nervous laugh. "Oops. I thought I responded back."

The members are watching us interact with varying reactions. They could really see this couple being attracted to each other and how their dynamic works. None of them have been in a relationship either at all or in years so to watch a couple interact so openly like that was interesting to them. Minho and Jisung don't really act like a couple despite being together.

"Well, let's get dinner going then," I announce, getting up. I stand up to walk over to Bang Chan. "After dinner, we can enjoy some cheesecake."

"Yay cheesecake!" Jisung cheers, getting off of Minho's lap. "Do you like cheesecake too, Noona?"

"I do!" I answer him, giving him a bright smile. "I love eating cheesecake."

Jisung gives me a big smile and it makes him look like a squirrel. I giggle at his smile. I walk over to the kitchen and I see all of the bags of take out sitting on table. I start taking everything out of the bags so I can see what plates we need for the food. Bang Chan gently hip checks me and takes a take out container.

"Mimi," Bang Chan says sternly. "What do you think you're doing?"

"I'm just helping out," I answer back innocently.

"You don't need to do that, Noona," Changbin says walking up to the table. "Why don't you just wait in the living room? I think Yongbokkie wanted to show you something."

"Who's Yongbokkie?" I ask in confusion.

"It's me, Noona!" Felix exlaims. "My Korean name is Yongbok so they called me Yongbokkie. Follow me!"

Felix takes my hand and pulls me towards a hallway that leads to the part of the dorm I haven't been to yet. I'm assuming that the hallway leads to the bedrooms.

"Felix, is it okay that I go to your rooms?" I ask cautiously. "I don't want to intrude on you private space."

"It's okay, Noona," Felix replies happily. "I already asked my roommates before you got here and I made sure to clean it up."

"If you say so. What is it that you want to show me?"

"Well it's a surprise, Noona. I've been preparing it since Hyung told us you guys started officially dating. And I think you're going to like it."

Felix opens up one of the bedroom. I see two sets of bunk beds on either side of the room. I remember when Younghoon had the dorm where they all had to share. Now most of them have their own rooms. Some of them still like to share rooms so one dorm has shared rooms and the other dorm has individual rooms. Whenever I go over to their dorms, we always end up in Younghoon's dorm. Felix brings me over to a bottom bunk that I assume is his. He grabs the blanket off the bed to reveal a set of stuffed animals. They look like the same style of the stuffed animal Bang Chan gave me when he met Little me for the first time.

"I got you the whole SKZOO collection!" Felix exclaims happily.

"Felix, thank you!" I exclaim just as happily. "But what are SKZOO?"

Felix gives me a shocked look and I don't know why. "Noona, I thought you knew what SKZOOs are. You have one!"

"Sorry, Felix. I'm assuming this is a Stray Kids things. I don't really know anything about what you guys have. Wait. How do I have one?"

"Hyung gave you Wolf Chan. The wolf plush you have. That's Hyung's SKZOO."

"Oh! That plush! It's in my backpack right now. So is it like your guy's mascot or something?"

"You could say that. We all have one. Mine is a chick named BbokAri. Chan Hyung's a wolf named WolfChan. Minho Hyung's a bunny named Leebit. Changbin Hyung's a bunny/pig hybrid named Dwaekki. Hyunjin Hyung's a ferret named Jiniret. Jisung Hyung's is a quokka named Han Quokka. Seungmin's a dog called PuppyM. And Jeongin's a fox called FoxI.Ny."

"Oh wow. That's really cute! And you got all of these for me?"

"Uh-huh. I may have gotten them straight from the company, but no one needs to know about that. Now you can have the whole set! Hyung said that Littles like stuffed animals so I wanted to get you the ones we have of ourselves."

I feel tears well up in my eyes. That's one of the most thoughtful things someone has done for me in a long time. I quickly scoop them all up into my arms and give them a group squeeze. I turn to Felix with teary eyes and a big smile on my face. Felix looks panicked as I guess he wasn't expecting me to cry.

"Thank you so much, Felix," I tell him gratefully. "You didn't have to do this for me, but I am so grateful for your kindness."

"Aw, Noona," Felix murmurs. He comes up to me and he wraps his arms around me into a hug. "I'm grateful for how happy you make my Hyung. You're the Little that he's been looking for and I've never seen Hyung smile so brightly when he's talking about you. I'm so happy you came into his life."

"Did she like the gift, Lixie?" A voice questions, coming into the room. I pull away from Felix to see Bang Chan leaning against the door frame.

"I did," I reply back, giving the stuffed animals in my arms a big squeeze. "Now my little wolf plush has a whole group of friends."

Bang Chan gives me a cute smile. "Good. I'm glad you like them. Well, all of the food has been plated and heated up. Let's eat dinner, yeah?"

I skip my way over to him with the plushes still in my arms. I give him a bright smile. "Let's eat. I'm starving. Let's go, Felix!"

Bang Chan wraps his arm around my waist and leads me back to the kitchen with Felix trailing behind us. I look down at all the plushes in my arms and I feel so happy. It's like I'm holding all of Stray Kids in my arms and that makes me feel so warm inside.
