My Baby Love (A Bang Chan Daddy AU)

Chapter 29: Sudden Surprise

"Noona, are you really going on tour with The Boyz?" Felix asks me as I am chilling with them at one of their dorms.

While I've been dating Bang Chan, they got two dorms like The Boyz. Bang Chan has his own room and we get more privacy now. I'm at Felix's dorm while I wait for Bang Chan and the others to come back. They went to get food to cook for dinner.

"Oh yeah. They invited me to accompany them during their tour," I reply back playing with Felix's hair. He has his head resting in my lap while he's sitting on the floor. His hair is short due to their most recent comeback. "So I'll be gone for a couple of months. I'm only staying with them during their USA portion. Once that's done, I'll come back home. I don't want to stay away from Channie for too long."

"Aw... That's so cute, Noona," Jeongin pipes up as he sits next to me. "We'll miss you though."

"Thank you, Jeongin. I'll miss you too. It's been awhile since I've left Korea, so it'll be nice that I'm doing it with my boys. They're so excited for this tour. They are so excited to see international Deobi. I know they'll be excited to meet up with Eric when we get to LA."

"You're going to see Eric?" Felix asks.

"Yeah. We already coordinated a place to meet so no one sees us. We don't want to give Deobi false hope if they see all of The Boyz in one place. Eric isn't ready to come back from his hiatus and I don't want him to feel rushed because of Deobi. He's been doing so well though. He really needed this hiatus. My little Maknae is enjoying his time with his family."

"You miss him though, huh?"

"Everyday. I still talk to him all the time and he tells me about his day and stuff, but it's not the same when I go to schedules or their dorm and him and Sunwoo aren't there to vie for my attention. Sunwoo still is, but it's not the same. I know my boys are still a little sad having to adjust without Eric."

"Aren't they gonna have a Japanese comeback soon?"

"Yeah. It'll be their first promotion without Eric. They've already started preparing. It'll be released right before the tour starts."

"When do you leave, Noona?" Jeongin asks.

"May 27th, I think," I answer him. "We'll arrive in LA 2 days before the  tour starts. We'll check out the venue and do some setting up. The day after the first show, we'll meet up with Eric and then continue on with the tour."

"Have you ever traveled with The Boyz before?" Felix asks.

"Uh-huh. I've been with them to the USA, Europe, and Asia. It's been a lot of fun 'working' for The Boyz."

"Wow, Noona. That's so cool," Jeongin praises me. "Do you know how to speak English?"

"Oh yeah. I took a bunch of English courses in university. I'm basically fluent. I practice with Jacob, Kevin, and Eric all the time. They said I sound like I'm from the USA when I speak in English."

Suddenly the door opens and Bang Chan, Changbin, Hyunjin, and Han wall through the door with bags of groceries in their arms.

"Who can speak English?" Han asks as he sets his bags on the kitchen counter.

"Noona can!" Felix exclaims sitting up. "Noona, you can talk to me and Channie Hyung in English!"

"Baby, I didn't know you could speak English," Bang Chan says as he comes over and pecks me in the lips. I hear a bunch of disgruntled noises in the background.

"You never asked," I reply with a giggle. "I can also speak Japanese, but I'm a little rusty."

"Wow, look at my baby being multilingual."

Bang Chan picks me up and sets me on his hip. I bury my head into his neck, feeling embarrassed. As much as I like Bang Chan picking me up like this, I didn't think he would do it in front of his members. I guess his Daddy mode doesn't have an off switch. And no one has said anything about the way he picked me up. He brings me over it kitchen counter where Changbin, Hyunjin, and Han are pulling out all of the food they bought for dinner. He walks up to a particular bag and rummages through it. After a moment, he pulls out a box. I pull my head from his neck when I feel nudge my head with his. I look up at him before he gestures for me to look down. I look down and I squeal in excitement.

"They had this in stock?!" I cry out in excitement. In his hands is a box of brown sugar choco pies, my favorite choco pie flavor. "Thank you so much, Daddy!"

I pepper Bang Chan's face in a bunch of kisses. This causes Bang Chan to let out a laugh while I'm kissing him. While I'm kissing his face, a phone goes off. I don't pay any mind to it as there a bunch of phones in the room right now. It could be anyone's phone.

"Noona," I hear Jeongin call out. "Your phone is going off."

I hear that and I immediately pull away from Bang Chan. I signal him to put me down and he does. I walk over to where Jeongin is still sitting. He holds out my phone for me and I grab it. I look down at my screen to see an unknown number is calling. I pick up the call and I just listen to whoever is in the other line.

"Noona," I hear a teary voice call out. I immediately recognize his voice and my heart starts racing.

"Chihoon," I whisper into the phone. I rush out to the balcony and I shut the door behind me. "Is this my Chihoon?"

"Noona," the voice sighs in relief. "Where are you? I want to be with you right now."

"My baby chick, where are you? I'll come get you."

"Noona, I'm outside of my building right now. Noona, I need you."

"My baby chick, tell me your address and I'll come get you right now."

Chihoon tells me the address where he at the moment and I make a note of it in my phone and I tell him that I'll be there as soon as I can. I hang up the call and I head back into the dorm. I come back in and I see a sea of worried faces. Bang Chan comes up to me with the worried look on everyone's faces.

"Baby, is everything okay?" Bang Chan asks me as he pulls me further into the room.

"Channie, can you drive me somewhere? Please." I ask him in a hurry. I grab my hands to wring them out of anxiety. I fight off the urge to slip into my Head Space as I need to keep a level head from all of this.

Bang Chan nods his head. He grabs his keys from the counter. He takes my hand and leads out the door. We head into the private parking garage and get into Bang Chan's car. I give him the address and we make the journey to my baby chick.
