Chapter 39: Going Home

Going home with Stray Kids was a bit of a hassle. I am in the same car as them along with the manager, by request of my protective boyfriend/Daddy as we head to the airport. I make sure I wear the same staff badge Han gave me when I entered the venue for the concert so I blend in with their staff. Though, just  incase any fan who are at the airport wanting to watch Stray Kids leave America took any photos of me and start asking questions, JYP has a statement ready to be put out saying that I was an intern assistant to Han as part of my college course. Which is such an elaborate lie. I did tell him that I can have IST take care of any images taken of me on any platform. I even gave him my special contact for those kinds of situations. There is a reason why Deobi don't know who I am and have never seen me before. They work fast and hard to protect my identity.

I know Bang Chan would rather have me enter the airport by his side, but he knows as well as I do that that would complicate things for anyone who saw. I am to remain by Han's side until we reach the private lounge for our airline. Bang Chan does stay behind the members so he will be closer to me as Han and I will stay in the back as well.

There were some fans, but they didn't crowd us as much. The security were able to help a lot as they stayed with us while we check in for the flight. The members make sure to acknowledge the fans who did came to see them off. It's cute to see them interact with Stays. I make sure that I don't interact with the members in any way to indicate a close relationship with them as I am aware of the eyes that are watching us. I do give them their tickets and make sure they have their passports out.

We go through the security with no difficulty. We head straight to the private lounge and the members can relax in there. They all immediately head to the buffet station filled with different breakfast food. I maintain my distance as we are still in public and we never know who could be watching us. Bang Chan sits next to me at one of the tables with some members joining him as well. He acknowledges me by nudging my knee with his. We're texting each other instead of saying anything out loud since it's easier to communicate that way without anyone listening in. I find out that he made sure that our seats are next to each other. We are sitting in first class so we have a privacy screen that'll hide us away from any prying eyes. Hopefully that doesn't look too suspicious.

After the members have their fill of the food, our flight is called and we head over to board the plane. The members go first and I follow behind them with Han. Bang Chan and my seats are located to the back of first class cabin. We get ourselves situated in our seats and wait for the plane to take off.

Once the plane is up in the air Bang Chan sets up his laptop and headphones to make it look like he's going to work on something. Then, Bang Chan puts up the privacy screen that will shield us from the others on the plane. He waits for a moment before pulling both of our masks down softly and gives me a kiss.

"I've been waiting to do that for hours," Bang Chan murmurs against my lips. He pecks them softly.

"Channie, you kissed me right before we left my hotel room," I retort with a giggle as I kiss his lips back.

"I know, but I hate having my baby girl here and not being able to smother here in as many kisses as I can."

"As much as I want to be smothered by your kisses, you can't make things look suspicious."

"That's why I set up my laptop to make it look like I'm going to work while on the plane. No one will know to disturb me when I'm in working mode. I made sure that anyone who could see me know that I would be working."

"You got this all figured out, huh, Channie?"

"Of course. I want my quality time with my baby girl and no one is going to stop that."

Once the seatbelt light turns off, Bang Chan pulls me to sit onto my lap. I cuddle into him like I always do when we cuddle. Bang Chan put on a movie on his laptop and we watch that till it's our first meal on the flight. I sit back in my chair when the flight attendants deliever our food so it doesn't look weird. After awhile, Bang Chan put the screen down so it makes it look like he's done working and to interact with the other members. I can feel them sneaking glances at me as I decide to do some work on this flight. I still have an article due at the end of the week and I need to secure some accessories for shoot The Boyz are doing when they come back. I don't know why I'm the one doing that, but their manager said I needed to do some actual work.

The flight flies by quickly with more stolen kisses from Bang Chan. We enter Korea with a ton of fans flocking us at every angle. Security is keeping them at bay as we head towards our vans. We end up splitting into two vans and Bang Chan makes sure I'm in his van. They take me back to my apartment first. I say bye to Bang Chan, but I have a feeling I'll have a visitor later on.
