Chapter 19: The Ship

After our date, things with Bang Chan really picked up. While he had to start promoting his comeback with Stray Kids, he always made time for me in some capacity, whether it was a late night date to that cafe or a phone call when he had time. I was already busy with The Boyz's comeback so I understood where Bang Chan was coming from. I went to most of The Boyz's schedules so I wasn't too sad when I couldn't be with Bang Chan. We haven't put a label to what we are, but we were together and that's all that really mattered. We haven't really discussed how DDLG would play into our relationship, but I knew I wanted him as my Daddy and he wanted me as his Little, but I didn't want to rush into that just yet. I wasn't ready to call him Daddy, but I knew I would be someday.

"Stop smiling at your phone," Younghoon murmurs to me as he passes by me.

I look up at Younghoon with a small glare on my face. "I am not smiling at your phone," I reply back sticking my tongue at him. I was looking at a cute photo Bang Chan sent of himself from on of his schedules.

"Oh really? Cause Sunwoo and Eric have been calling you for the last 5 minutes."

I look over to where I remember Sunwoo and Eric were sitting. They look at me as if they had been calling for me and were waiting for a response. I giggle nervously.

"Maknaes, did you want something?" I ask them innocently.

"We want our Noona's attention, but something else is taking it away from us," Sunwoo whines cutely. With a big pout in his face, Eric nods in agreement. "What are you looking at anyways?"

"Nothing."

"She's probably looking at her boyfriend," Younghoon interjects with some sass.

I look at him in surprise. This catches all of the member's attention. All of a sudden I'm surround by all of The Boyz, most of them shouting questions at me. I give Younghoon a glare, but he shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly.

"They were going to find out eventually," Younghoon quips innocently.

"Sure, but I didn't want them to find out while you guys are at a schedule," I snap at him. I totally ignore the questions being thrown at me.

Suddenly I feel two pairs of arms wrap around my own and I look and see the Maknaes looking up at me with puppy dog eyes.

"Noona, when were you going to tell us that you have a boyfriend?" Eric asks innocently. "I thought you only loved us."

"Yeah, Noona, you're supposed to only love us," Sunwoo whines cutely.

"Guys, Noona can have a boyfriend," Jacob cuts in. "Just because she's our Noona means that she can't find love."

"Jacob's right. Noona can have a boyfriend if she wants," Kevin agrees, then he turns to me. "But we need to approve of the boyfriend. Not just anyone can date our Noona."

"Oh, you guys will approve," Younghoon quips with a grin. "I wouldn't want my best friend to just date anyone. I had to approve first."

"So you know who's dating our Noona?" Changmin asks curiously.

"Of course I do! My ship is so cute."

"Noona, who is it?" Chanhee asks me.

"Yeah, Noona!" Haknyeon agrees excitedly. "Who is it?"

"Well," I start off, feeling shy. "Um... You guys should be familiar with him. His name is Bang Chan."

A loud gasp goes throughout the whole room. I close my eyes knowing that more questions are about to come at me. And I know I can't tell them about me being a Little. Only Younghoon knows, and I guess all of Stray Kids, but I don't want them to know. I feel like that would change everything between us.

"How did you meet him?" Sangyeon asks immediately.

"I accidentally ran into him at a cafe," I say, giving them a half truth. That did happen. It's just happened after we already started talking.

"You met at a cafe?" Jaehyun asks with a smile in his eyes. "It's like you're in a drama, Noona. How cute."

"Is he nice to you?" Juyeon ask sternly. "He better be nice to you or he'll have 11 Namdongsaengs banging down his door."

"He's plenty nice to me, guys. You don't have to worry," I assure them waving my hands frantically. "And we only just started dating, guys. It's still new. No need to be so protective."

"Does his members know?" Sangyeon questions me. "Have you met his members?"

"I should text Minho, but I lost his number," Juyeon mumbles to himself.

"What if Noona likes his members more than us?" Eric asks in a panic. He turns to me frantically. "Noona, you can't meet his members."

"Eric, you know nobody can take away my love for you guys," I assure him. "But no, I haven't met them yet. They know about me, but they're also busy with a comeback so we haven't set up a time for me to meet them."

"Wait," Chanhee interjects. "How did you know he was Bang Chan? He had to be wearing something covering his face when you saw him. And you don't even know other idol groups."

"Yeah," Changmin agrees nodding his head. "How did you know who he was?"

"I recognized him from Kingdom," I fib a little. "He pulled his mask down at one point and I recognized him from watching Kingdom. Did you forget I was with you guys the whole time?"

"Oh yeah," Kevin agrees. "She watched all of the performances from backstage. She may have never interested with the other groups, but she was there."

"And she watched Kingdom when it was airing," Jacob adds. "So she was bound to see what he looked like."

"Yeah, thank you, MoonBae," I approve with a smile. "And when I realized who he was, I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. I told him I'm not really into Kpop and that Younghoon is my best friend so I wouldn't mention him being at the cafe. We swapped numbers and were talking for awhile before he asked me out. Nothing crazy."

"Aw... Noona, you're dating an Idol," Haknyeon points out. "And we didn't even introduce you to him. You found one all on your own."

"Ju, I don't think that's necessarily a good thing."

"Do they still have a dating ban?" Sunwoo asks.

"No, their dating ban expired earlier this year, but that doesn't mean we can galavant around in the open. Nor can he talk about it with certain people. We're gonna wait to see where this is going before Channie talks to his company."

"Aw... You already have a nickname for him," Jaehyun coos. "What does he call you?"

"He calls me 'Mimi'."

"That's so cute!" Eric squeals happily. Then a serious expression goes over his face. "I'm so happy for you, Noona, but you won't give him all of your attention, will you?"

"He could never take away all of my attention. You guys demand so much of my attention I couldn't possibly shift any of it away from you."

"Good."

I roll my eyes at Eric. He really gets what he wants as the Maknae. Him and Sunwoo are such babies at the end of the day. These boys mean the world to me and I couldn't possibly leave them just because I'm dating someone. It's not like I would spend as much time as I do with The Boyz as I would with Bang Chan. It's less suspicious that way.

"Not that we need to meet Bang Chan, but we will need to meet him again as your boyfriend," Sangyeon stated firmly. "Younghoon may approve, but he still needs to go through us."

The other members murmur words of agreement. I giggle as I know how protective they are over me. I don't know when they would be able to meet one another, but it sure is going to be chaotic. Nothing like 11 grown men interrogating another grown man about our dating life. But I guess I'd rather have them be protective over me than no one at all. They are my family after all.
