"You okay?" Cole asked me concerned.

"Never better." I replied, smiling bitterly and thinking of things I'll be doing the rest of the week to avoid Derek. Thankfully, I had my best friends to help me out in times of need.

It was now Monday, and all three of us were at the library, stacking the new books and placing them on the shelves.

"Dove, have you finished the last two boxes yet?" I heard Cole call out from somewhere.

"Yeah I'm just arranging some last few ones. Almost done!" I told him and he answered with an 'okay', while I worked in silence with my earphones in my ears, humming to my favorite songs.

Abigail and I had spent the weekend drowning in my sorrows with a pint of ice cream and Cole helped us finish it, and get the lock on our door changed so Derek couldn't come in since he had a key as well.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Abigail walking over to me and plucked out my earphones, looking at her expectantly.

"We're going out tomorrow night, a new club opened not far. You're coming, right?" She looked at me hopefully.

"I don't know. We have classes, Abby." I told her and she shook her head.

"We don't have classes till 12 p.m., Dove. Plus, it'll be fun, and you can drown you sorrows there. You know, hook up with some stranger, kiss someone, dance with another, enjoy yourself. When's the last time you had fun?" She looked at me and I sighed.

"I'll think about it, okay?" I told her and she smiled.

"You can't think about it, you're going and it's final. And you've gotta wear that sexy dress we bought for you yesterday." She told me and I just nodded, while she went away to Cole squealing.

Did I mention we went shopping yesterday and bought me a whole new wardrobe? Cause we did, and we bought so many dresses I thought I'd go bankrupt.

Oh well, guess I'll be wearing one of them tonight.

After finishing at the library we all went to our favorite café, 'Rosie's'. It was a nice, cozy place, not far from our college and the library, as well as where we lived, so we came here every now and then to relax or to study.

"I'll have a caramel latte and the chocolate fudge brownie please, thank you." I told Mark at the counter, a plump guy in his forties.

"Anything else I can get my beautiful ladies?" He smiled at us and we all grinned.

"Thanks Mark, but that'll be all." Abigail told him, paying for her tea and handing Cole his soda.

We all went to our usual spot by the window and Cole settled on the cushions in the corner, taking out his phone and typing away on it while Abigail and I chatted about college life.

"Have you finished your assignments?" I asked Abigail while taking a bite out of my brownie.

"Yeah I handed them all in today. Thanks for helping me out with the interviews though. Tell me if you need any help." She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"I will, not that I need it, but could you please find me Mr. Darcy, I think I'm in love with him. Again." We both giggled and Cole groaned.

"How many times you gonna read that book, Winchester?" Cole looked at me pointedly and I stuck my tongue out at him.

"As long as I don't fnd my Mr. Darcy, Jackson." I replied and he rolled his eyes.

"You men can never understand the love we women have for Mr. Darcy." Abigail and I erupted into a fit of laughter and then I realized my brownie had finished. Quickly taking a sip of my coffee, I got up from my seat.

"I need another brownie, this is too good." I told them both and slipped out of our booth and made my way to the counter, taking out my phone to text my sister, Ava. I had told her about the breakup over a text and now she was spamming my phone.

'I'll call you later when I'm free okay?' I messaged her and was about to hit send when I collided with a hard wall. Or not a wall perhaps.

"Ouch." I rubbed my forehead and saw two very neat and polished black shoes, making me look up in criousity when my breath hitched.

Oops.
