I woke up when the hospital room's door closed and sat up straight slowly, looking around when I saw I was still in Dove's room.
Looks like I slept here.
I turned around and saw Jake with a furious expression on his face and I knew exactly what it meant as I shot out of my seat.
"Sofia." He said, trembling with rage.
That was all he had to say for my vision to go red and all I could see was blood as my teeth clenched dangerously and my fists clenched shut.
"Call the whole family for dinner tonight at the estate, including Dove's. I want every fucking person present." I said when he gave me a curt nod.
"What are we doing exactly?" He asked me and I smirked.
"It's time I show them the real me, is it not?" I spoke when Jake smirked from behind me as I turned to face Dove.
"Si, Don." He grinned and walked out to make the necessary calls.
I looked at the angel asleep peacefully and I went over to her, pressing a lingering kiss to her forehead, happy that her skin was warmer now. I know she was fighting to survive and she would pull through.
"I'll avenge you, amore mio. And when you wake up, I'll be right here." I said and with one last look, I left for the estate. When I arrived at home, dinner preparations were in full swing.
"Ace." I heard Stuart call and turned around to look at him.
"Jake told me about the plan, and we're on board, obviously. Is there anything else we need to know or make sure?" He asked as I put my hands in my pockets and looked at him thoughtfully.
"People have forgotten who I am and what I'm capable of," I shrugged as I looked around at all the people working, "It's time to get moving on and put people in their place."
"Make her think we know she's the rat, and we'll confirm it too. Jake told you everything, yes?" I asked him and he nodded with a small grin.
"Matteo too. No one else is included, right?" He asked as we started walking.
"No." I said.
"Then take a shower, will you. No offense, but I bet Matteo's socks smell better than you at this point." He spoke when I grunted, turning to glare at him when he smiled sheepishly.
I stayed in the hospital the last two weeks and the only time I slept was when I was sitting with her.
I took a long shower, relaxing my throbbing head and calming down the adrenaline in my blood. The urge to kill someone was really strong right now and I was considering a few people, starting with Sofia, and then maybe even Liam.
