We took each and every ride, not even sparing one. I laughed, I cried, I screamed and smiled when all Nico did was have a straight face the whole time. And we left the Ferris wheel for last.

"Wow, just look at this view." I gazed at the beautiful night view of LA in front of me as the Ferris wheel stopped when we were at the top.

"It's breathtaking, isn't it?" Nicholas said and I glanced in his direction briefly to see him already looking at me.

"You're so cheesy." I smacked his shoulder playfully but he caught my hand, bringing it to his lips and kissed it gently, his eyes never leaving mine.

"Only for you." He smirked and I giggled when he intertwined our fingers.

"You said you wanted to ask me something?" I asked him and he forced a small smile to his face.

"Yes, I did." He said and cleared his throat, turning to face me. I saw nervousness in his eyes as he looked at me.

"What is it? Now you're just scaring me." I told him and he shook his head, blowing out a breath.

"I wanted to ask you if you'd— bemygirlfriend." He mumbled and cleared his throat, averting his gaze from mine.

"What?" I asked him confused and he ran a hand over his face, grunting in annoynace.

"Cazzo perché sono così nervoso?" (Fuck why am I this nervous?) He said exhaling and looking at me again after shaking his head.

"I want you to be my girlfriend." He said more firmly this time and my eyes widened in surprise.

"Your girlfriend?" I asked and he nodded slowly as my eyes widened.

"Holy mother of Jesus." I exhaled and he chuckled, his grip tightening around my hand.

"So?" He asked me and my head snapped to his, as I gaped at him, at a loss for words.

"I— um— I—" I stuttered like an idiot while he watched me with a frown. Shit, not a god impression.

Why am I like this? Do I want to be with him?

Will I be able to handle the heartbreak if he suddenly left me?

Will people judge me for being with him?

They already do, who's to say they won't when they know that we're official?

I like him. I do like him, but am I willing to risk it with him?

I took a deep breath and looked into his eyes, giving him a nervous smile as I squeezed his hand back.

"I'd love to be your girlfriend." I whispered but he heard me, his eyes lighting up like a Christmas tree as he flashed me a toothy, charming smile. The first genuine one I'd seen from him.

"Really?" He asked me when I nodded my head, and he leaned down and kissed me sweetly, placing another kiss on my forehead and resting his forehead against mine, he sighed dreamily.

"You have no idea how happy you've made me. How happy you make me." He whispered and I smiled, cupping his cheek and pulled away to look into his eyes. He leaned into my touch and covered my hand with his.

"You make me happy too." I told him and he smiled, placing a lingering kiss on my lips and pulled away when we started moving. We walked out of the park hand in hand, laughing, with ice cream cones in our hands.
