Paul Butcher as Kennedy!! Pic's somewhere down on the right :)) Lol, he looks so passive there. Imagine him as a more playful, fun person though :D
Advance apologies for wrong grammar and all that. =D This is my first story so please do JUDGE. Feel free to hate my work. Rant if it sucks.
*deep breath*
Okay, I'll start.

I wake up at 6 because classes start at 8 am. We have five school days a week. Ugh--reminds me of a too short weekend.
Life was okay: I got okay grades, okay teachers
However, I had no good friends, no close friends, and (tadah!) no best friends. Basically, there was no one I trusted. None I talked to much nor I told my secrets to.
That was until Grade 5, or fifth grade as others in foreign countries call it.
I got a very VERY chatty seatmate. I was perpetually annoyed. I love silence. I love peace. He--yes, it's a guy--wrecked that peace.
I don't like chatting. Chatting is socializing. And socializing is hard. Talking is NOT easy.
Umm, hello? I just find it really hard to approach people. It isn't hard thinking of what to say.
The hurdle I can barely jump over is TALKING--taking the first move, starting a conversation? I'm not that good when it's going either because I don't have much to talk about.
So get this, I'm shy. I mean, if you haven't concluded that from my rant yet. So yeah.
Let me tell you something about me. I tend to be a people-pleaser. I also am what you call a loner. I have never had a close friend in my life. But, like I said, that was until Grade 5.

His name is Kennedy Ellson. He talks a lot. Although I missed my peace (also annoying since he talked pretty much constantly), it wasn't that he was boring. On the contrary, we actually had good conversations. I mean, truth be told, I was entertained.
It was class time though so I had to listen to the teacher, which I can't do if a certain someone keeps talking.
[]
The teacher assigned our new seating arrangements for the semester. He got seated on my right. It all started out okay, but I never expected how important he'd be to me.
"Hi," Kennedy said.
"Um... hello."
"Sooo I sit here now. Ciara, right?"
I nod in response.
"Mmmhm."
End of conversation.
So from what I experienced, I really did not expect a chatty seatmate. Apart from that, we did not talk at all that day.
He has a terribly loud voice. All that noise was annoying. Added to the fact that other people were also basically screaming. (Sorry if I'm exaggerating, but I do hate noise.) Hence that day ended with me getting a headache thanks to people's defective hearing.
