"So what about you?" Dylan said.
"What about me?" I said confused.
"You already know a lot about me tell me more about yourself, like your dad for instance. You never talk about him."
I froze for a minute unable to speak. I never speak about my dad because I don't really no much about him. He is just some stranger to me.
I was in a deep thought when Dylan snapped me out of it.
"Andrea?"
"What?"
"You were in a deep thought right now when I mentioned your dad. What were you thinking about? Where you thinking about him?"
"Yeah.. It's just.. I never really talk about my dad."
"Is it personal? It's fine if you don't want to tell me."
"No. No it's fine. I should be honest with you. You deserve to know the truth. I don't really know much about my dad only that he left my mom when I was very young. I guess he doesn't really want to know anything about me since he left."
He held me tighter. "If that's true then he's a jerk and doesn't deserve to know you."
I smiled at him. "Thanks."
"But if he wanted to see you would you want to see him?"
I sighed. "I don't know. I think not because from what I heard, from my mother he is a pretty selfish guy."
He nodded. "Okay well I should probably drive you home. It's getting late."
"Thank you Dylan. For everything."
"Anything for you Andrea."
He kissed me and drove me home.

It's been a month now. Dylan and I have gotten closer as the days go by. I can't go a day without seeing him. Everything seems so great. We haven't had any complications.. so far. Well.. At least I hope it stays that way.

I went to the backyard to get some fresh air when I heard heavy panting and footsteps. I turned around to see it was Dylan. He looked worn out, he was sweating and stopped to catch his breath. Hmm looks like someone is out of shape."Dylan. What happened? It looks like you were running away from a tiny chihuahua," I said teasing him. Even though he was all sweaty he looked gorgeous.
He gave me a stern look. "What if I told you I was?"
"Wait you were?"
He laughed. "I'm kidding. I don't get scared that easily but, those dogs are quite feisty."
"Yeah. Tell me about it," I said looking up at the clouds.
"I kinda ran over here to see you. I missed you."
"But you just saw me."
"But I still missed you."
"And I missed you." I lean in to kiss him. "Hold up. Why didn't you just ride in your motorcycle?"
"Because it broke down. I need to get her fixed."
The wind picked up, it gave me goosebumps.
"Oh okay. Do you want to go inside it's starting to get cold out here. I don't want you getting sick."
"Andrea, I won't. Don't worry. Let's go."
We both inside. I felt warmer once we were in the house.
"Are you hungry? Do you want anything?"
"Do you have chicken nuggets?"
I knew how much Dylan loved chicken nuggets.
"Of course I do."
"Great! I love chicken nuggets."
"Yeah. I know," I said grinning.
After I heated up the chicken nuggets I got caught in a deep thought. It's been a month and I haven't told Kadin and Sarah that I'm with Dylan. Wow.. I'm such a bad friend. I will tomorrow. For sure this time.
As I walked down the hall I saw Sarah and Kadin standing by my locker. I walked over to meet with them.
"Hey guys."
"Hey there girly," Sarah said leaning against my locker.
"Hi Andrea." Kadin said waving. I waved back.
"So I know I have been a bit distance lately."
"A bit? More like a lot. Andrea I feel like I don't see you anymore. Who am I going to turn to when I need to talk to someone about my complications with Jake," Sarah said.
Jake is Sarah's boyfriend. I don't really understand how she could stand him, he's a douche and he treats her like crap.
"Why are you even with him," I said in an agitated tone.
"Yeah I don't get what you see in him," Kadin said clearly agreeing with me.
"Look, I know he is not the best guy out there.."
You're right. Dylan is.
"But I have been with him for 6 months now I'm attached to him. And plus he's hot."
"Yeah, sure. Whatever," I said rolling my eyes. "Guys I need to tell you something. The reason why I have been very distant is because I'm dating Dylan Stan."
The both looked at me in surprise.
"Whoa. Nice," Sarah said congratulating me.
"Well. I just hope he's not a douche like Jake."
"He's not. I think we should get to class now."
"You're right. I need to study for Friday's chemistry test," Kadin said sounding happy about that.
"Ugh you're such a nerd and chemistry is such a bore and can't we just stay here the whole day?" Sarah said sounding annoyed.
"No. We're leaving," Kadin said grabbing her arm.
"Ow. Okay. No need to get rough. See you later Andrea." Sarah said as she walked away.
"See you later," Kadin giving me a hug.
"See ya," I said as I pulled away.
He waved goodbye and walked away. I turned and saw that Dylan was standing a few feet away from me. He didn't look to happy. Did he see me hug Kadin? Did he jealous? No. He can't be. Is he? Everything was going so well though. Oh no. Looks like I spoke too soon.
