There's Something More

Soon it was time to go back to class. I found Sarah waiting there by my locker as always.

"Where have you been?"

"Kadin and I went to our little spot. He wanted to talk to me okay?"

"Well I just came to tell you that the new guy was asking about you?"

I froze. He was asking about me?

I swallowed. "He was?"

"Yeah he came up to me asking about you I said I didn't know where you were. It was strange though, he knew your name and you guys haven't even met yet."

I glanced over to where Dylan was standing. He was leaning against his locker casually looking at the ground. When he looked up, he gave me that intense gaze again.

I looked away from his gaze and bit my lower lip. I sensed that he was still looking at me.

Sarah turned to look at him and looked at me. "Well I see you two have a thing for each other."

I laughed. "What no. I don't have a thing for him and I'm pretty he doesn't have a thing for me."

"Come on Andrea, you two look at each other all the time."

I shrugged. "He's very nice to look at."

"He is but I know there's something more."

I guess there was something more. I want to get to know him but I wouldn't even know how to approach him.

Back at my house, Kadin and I studied.

"Kadin my head is starting to hurt."

"Okay let's take a break."

"Thank you!"

I sighed.

"So how is everything going?"

"Fine. Just fine thanks for asking."

I lied everything wasn't going as planned because I haven't talked to Dylan yet.

"You just haven't been yourself lately, Andrea."

"I have been myself what are you talking about." I looked into his eyes when I said that. Kadin had such gorgeous eyes. They were green. I've always loved green colored eyes. I've always loved his eyes, they were just so hypnotizing.

"Okay." He looked at his gold watch. "Wow look at that it's getting late. I have approximately 3 and a half hours to get home."

"You're such a geek Kadin."

"I know I love you too," he said winking at me.

"Bye."

"Bye."
