Epilogue ~ You And Me Against The World (Years Later)

It been a few years later, like.. 10 years? I'm not sure. I don't keep track but all I know is that I've never been happier than I have been with Dylan. He is my everything and I am his. Since I met him my life has taken a huge turn. Conflicts, complications, romance, a lot has happened and been through it all together. 

Dylan and I live together, if you're wondering. You might ask if he still has the motorcycle. Of course he does. He loves that motorcycle how can he ever get rid of it. What about Sarah and Kadin? We still hang out. Best friends don't ever leave each other's side. Sarah is with a decent guy this time and Kadin is with the girl that he had a crush on since middle school, Lia. I think I might have mentioned her before. 

After my father left I went to go see Jewel at the hospital to tell her she was right all along and to thank her again for the great advice. We've kept in touch and now we're best friends. I helped her get through her surgeries. She stayed so positive and I guess it payed off because a few years later she had recovered and was very healthy. Now she's living a normal and regular life like she deserves.

My father and had have not seen each other since that night but I think that he will come around. Both my mother and I have forgiven him.

 I never take the promise ring off. Well.. only to wash my hands or to take a shower, but other than that, I never take it off.

And as far as Dylan and I.. Do we fight? Sure we do. I mean don't all couples fight? but there is something that always brings us back together and it's how we feel about each other. When push comes to shove, when things get very complicated, I can always count of someone to have my back. To always be there for me when I need him the most. One day I might get married to him. Who knows what the future might hold but I do see us having a future together.

And there's always something Dylan and I both say that makes us reassure our love for each other,

It's you and me against the world.
