He took me to a very fancy restaurant afterwards.
"Dylan, you didn't have to do this for me," I said to him with a serious look.
"But I wanted to," he said smiling.
"Well, thank you. I've had a great day, the best in years."
"That was the point."
I smiled at him.
"Andrea, you have a beautiful smile."
"Wow. I haven't done that in a while," I said surprised.
"What smile?"
"Yeah."
"Well I'm so glad I made you smile, Andrea."
"Thank you." He had a beautiful smile too.
"Come on, let's take you home," be said as he asked for the check and left.
"Your family has a lot of money, dont they?" I said as we headed for the motorcycle.
"Yeah. It runs in the family, but I don't really care much about money and power."
I smiled at him once more. He returned the smile.
The he took me back home.
"Thank you so much for today, Dylan. I had a great time." I hopped of the motorcycle, he hopped of as well.
"It was my pleasure. See you tomorrow?"
"Yeah."
He stood right in front of me, just a few inches away. I was about to turn away when he quickly grabbed my arm and held me close. He reached his arm out to stroke my hair and then his hand moved my face. I titled my head so I could take in more of his touch. His thumb moved gently across my cheek and then he dropped his hand.
"I can't wait to see you tomorrow, Andrea."
"Me either."
"Goodbye, Andrea."
"Goodbye, Dylan," I said and walked away. He got back on his motorcycle. I looked back at him, waved and smiled. He waved and smiled back snd then he took off.
Now I just needed an excuse to give to my mother explaining why I was out. She is going to be so pissed, but it didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was that I was going to see Dylan again.
