We finally made it back to my house.

"Thank you Dylan. I'll see you when I see you. Goodnight," I said getting out of the car.

"You're welcome. Goodnight Andrea. Sweet dreams," he said with a smile.

I went back to my room, got in comfortable clothes, and went to sleep.

The next day was Saturday. I was relieved because I didn't have to get up early and here my mom yell at me to get up and go to school. I spent the day doing chores around the house. When it got dark I just sat there on my bed looking out the window.

Suddenly I saw something hit the window. I stared at the window in confusion. What the hell? That same thing hit the window again. I finally got a good look at what it was, it was a rock. I went and opened the window. I looked down on the pavement and saw Dylan waiting outside my window. My eyes widened. He waved at me.

"What are you doing here?" I said in a whisper.

"I came to see you."

"Now? Dylan it's late."

He just shrugged. "I felt like now was the appropriate time. Hold on don't close the window I'm coming up."
Wait what? No he's bluffing. He can't possibly be serious. He's not coming up I thought. I looked at Dylan and he was climbing up a ladder. Oh my god he was serious and were did he get a ladder?

He came slowly through the window and before I knew it he was in my room.

"Nice room."

I gave him a stern look. "Dylan I didn't know you where coming."

"Yeah I should of called but I don't know I got kind of lazy," he said laughing.

I laughed as well. "Dylan you are full of surprises."

"That I am."

We sat there on my bed talking for a while.

"So no girlfriend?"

"Not at the moment."

"Wow. Really?"

"Now why do you seem so shocked by this information?"

"It's just that you're a very attractive person Dylan, I was assume that you would have a bunch of girl at your feet by now."

He laughed. "You think I'm attractive?"

"I only speak the truth."

"How about you? No boyfriend?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Why would anyone really want to date me? I'm just..me. I'm not really an interesting person or anything," I said in a sorrowful tone.

"Well I like you."

"Really?"

"The moment I saw you I felt something I have never felt for anyone else. A strong connection. I can't stay away from you. I always want to be with you."

"I feel the same thing about you. I don't mind that you don't want to stay away from me, I actually like that you're always with me."

We looked at each other for seconds. Long seconds. Then Dylan leaned his head closer to mine, I did the same. I knew what he was doing. He was going to kiss me. My heart started to beat fast. We were getting close. Very close. I wanted Dylan. From the moment I saw him I wanted him. Suddenly I fell from my bed. I hit the floor hard and hit my head.

"Andrea are you okay?" Dylan said surprised.

"Yeah just a little hit on the head that's all."

"Here let me help you up," he said getting me off the floor.

"Thanks," I said embarrassed.

"What happened?"

"I don't know. I guess I must of slipped off the edge."

We looked at each other and laughed.

"You're clumsy Andrea."

"Hey! It just happened! Okay?"

"Don't worry it's fine. It just kinda ruined our moment that's all."

"Yeah," I said shamefully.

"I think I should get going. You have this tired look on your face. I'm going to let you get some rest."

"Okay."

"See you later, Andrea."

"See you later, Dylan."

"Oh and Dylan," I said before he left.

"Yes?"

"Call first next time. Don't be lazy."

"You got it," he said and he was out the window.

I was upset. Upset at myself for ruining my chance to kiss this guy. I really liked him and I blew our moment. Now there was nothing I can do but just wait for next time. The good news was he liked me. He liked me and I liked him. I think things are great between us. I wanted Dylan. I needed him. He was the only person I gotten close to. Very close and I want it to be like that for now on.
