Temptation

The Hideout

He led me to a river, next to it was a tree. It was a very relaxing place. The light from the sky shined down on the river and made it shimmer.

"This is were I come to get away from everything and everyone. I know it's not much though," Dylan said.

"It's beautiful. I can see why you come here," I said taking in my surroundings. It really was beautiful I wish I could stay here all day, but I know that my mom would get worried.

We spent our time skipping rocks across the water.

"Dylan, why did you bring me here?" I asked as I picked up a rock and skipped it across the water. I watched the rock glide across the water making a ripple affect.

"I wanted to show you this place, but we could go back if you don't want to be here."

"NO. No. It's fine. I'm glad that you showed me this place I rather be here than in school any day but I'm just asking. Why me?  You  could have taken anyone but you took me why?"

"Because there is something about you, Andrea. Something that just draws my attention. It's very alluring and I don't want to stay away from you."

That made me shiver. Not because of the breeze that passed through my skin, but because he said that he doesn't want to stay away from me. I knew that I felt the same way, I didn't want to stay away from him either. I wanted to be closer to him. Very close.

"Are you cold?" He asked looking at the way my teeth chattered.

"A bit." The breeze really got to me that time.

"Here," he  said taking of his jacket and wrapping it around my shoulders. It made me feel warmer. "How's that?"

"It's warm, thank you."

We sat down on the ground and talked. He told me more about himself. He was a very interesting person; he is part Irish, Spanish, Italian, and English, he plays guitar and the drums, and he doesn't have a middle name.

When I was with him everything around me dissipated and didn't matter the only thing that mattered was him and only him. He made me feel safe and comfort. I have been waiting for this guy to appear in my life forever. I knew at that moment I wanted to be more than friends. I needed him and I felt something for him, something that I never felt for anyone before.
