Sarah led me a elegant sparkly blue dress that I was able to fit in well. It wasn't too short but it was long enough that I had to carry the ends with both hands. I was scared to met Dylan's parents but I wanted to make a good impression on them for the first time.

My mom walked in the room and looked surprised.

"Andrea you look beautiful."

"Thanks mom."

"Oh there is this lovely guy here to see you. How come you never told me about him? He seems like such a gentlemen," she said smiling.
Dylan? Dylan is here?

"Sorry mom I just have a hard the telling you about the guys I meet because you're always so hard on them."

"Nonsense. He's sweet. I'm glad you're friends with him. He's waiting downstairs for you," she said leaving.

I quickly finished getting ready and went downstairs to meet up with Dylan. And there he was in a suit and tie. He looked so breathtaking, so hot, it was irresistible not to let myself lose into him. He looked ate with that gaze that made me weak.

"Hello Dylan."

"Andrea you look beautiful."

"She does doesn't she," my mom said interrupting our moment.

"It was nice meeting you Ms. Chandler I'll have her back in a while."

"You two have fun. It was nice to get to met one of Andrea's friends I hope we see more of each other."

"Of course. I'll have her back by curfew."

We left my house and drove to his. What surprised me was that he didn't bring motorcycle it was a nice car we drove in.

"No motorcycle this time?" I asked.

"No my parents are a bit uncomfortable when I drive it so they let me borrow their car instead. They said it was safer if you rode in this tonight."

"It sounds like they really want to met me. Why?"

"They want to get to know you better. I never really have friends and they want to see who it is that I'm hanging out with."

"What if they don't like me?"

"What's there not to like about you, Andrea?"

I gave him a blank stare.

"Don't worry they're really nice. They'll like you."

"I hope so," I said with doubt.

We arrived at his house. It was huge. It was more of a masion, so elegant with a crystal chandelier that lightened the whole living room.

"Nice place."

"Thanks."

"I kinda feel a bit intimidated by it though."

He grabbed my hand. His touch made me feel relaxed. "Don't be."

"You must be Andrea," a woman's voice said. I looked up and there they were his parents.

She walked downstairs and hugged me. "I'm Lisa and this is Patrick it's so nice to finally meet you Andrea. You're so beautiful."

"Thank you. It's nice to meet you too."

I shook hands with his father. He had a firm handshake. "Please come. We made dinner for you."

"Thank you that is very sweet of you."

"Hey mom were is Julia?"

"She's gone out. She wanted to spend sometime with her friends but it's fine she said she felt trapped in this house."

Dylan just shook his head. "My sister can be a bit rebellious. You'll meet her soon."

"Okay."

We spent our time eating our dinner and talking around the dinner table. They were very nice people.

"I think Andrea should get some rest now. It's late."

"I just want to show her my room if that's fine with you mom? Dad?"

"It's fine Dylan. You two go on ahead."

"Thanks."

He quickly took my to his room. It was nice and looked very peaceful.

"Nice room."

"Thank you."

I looked over at his drums. He saw my gaze go to them.

"Oh yeah I promised to play you something and looks like you're going to get that promise," he said smiling as he got behind his drums.

He played a soft and slow melody. It was so relaxing I quickly feel into the melody.

"You are good."

He laughed. "Yeah I am."

Suddenly I heard a crash and yelling downstairs. I quickly ran to see what it was.

"Andrea wait.."

I ran into the kitchen and saw that Lisa and Patrick were having an argument. The both looked at me.

"Andrea."

"What's going on here?"

"I'm sorry you had to witness this we're just having a bit of an argument that's all," Lisa said with sorrow eyes.

Dylan suddenly appeared at my side.

"Andrea. I need to take you home now. It's getting dark."

I hesitated for a second but followed Dylan out of the house.

"Dylan what happened in there?"

"We aren't such a what's the word functional family as you thought we would be. My parents are always having arguments like that. God I'm so sorry you had to see that this isn't how I wanted this night to go," he said as he slammed his fist at the steering wheel.

I put my hand over his. "It's fine. I had a good time Dylan. You made me feel at home with your home. Thank you for this lovely night," I said smiling at him. He smiled in response.

"I'm glad you had a good time."

I knew that he wasn't a perfect guy that had a perfect life. He was just some normal guy. He had family problems like any other dysfunctional family. I knew that what he saw in me was a way to escape from problems like these. He needed me like I needed him and I didn't want to let him go. He made me feel something I never felt for someone before. I was lucky to have him.
