*Unknown Restaurant: Early Morning*

Hank and Ana were seated side by side in a booth, staring blankly at the empty space in front of them. They only moved when a waitress came by with their food.

"Breakfast, sir, ma'am. Three cheeseburgers, three fries, and three chocolate shakes." She listed, placing the items down on the table as she spoke.

"Thank you." The older man nodded, quietly.

The waitress returned it and walked off, leaving the couple alone once more. The brunette suddenly let out a sigh and laid her head on her husband's shoulder, sniffling as she teared up a bit. He just wrapped a comforting arm around her in response.

*District 21*

Hank walked up to and placed a bag of food on the front desk. Ana appeared beside him a few seconds later.

"Couldn't touch it?" Trudy guessed, recieving a shake of the head in reply.
"Did it feel any easier?" The brunette shook her head that time. "Maybe next year."

"Mm-hmm. Anyway, you find someone to eat it for us?" The older man inquired.

Ana just gazed down at her shoes and it looked like all she wanted to do was curl up somewhere and cry.

"Yeah, these trash compactors that work here? For sure." The Desk Sergeant joked, getting the tinest of smiles out of her best friend. "Hey, listen, don't shoot me for saying this, but I can't help but notice the tension in your unit, Hailey, Jay, you two. Whatever is going on, you don't have to be alone with it. You can loop me in on this-"

Kim appeared at the bottom of the stairs before she could continue.

"Guys? I was just texting you two. Manny got in touch with Atwater. We're on." The Officer reported.

The two Sergeants looked at each other and their expressions hardened  before they marched right back out the doors with Kim right behind them.

*Inside the Voights' SUV*

Hank is in the driver's seat while Kim is in the passenger's and Ana was slightly leaning forwards from her spot in the back. They were all listening to and watching Kevin and Adam make a drug buy/bust.

"We know who this clown is yet?" The older man wondered, referring to the unknown bald man that had just wandered into frame.

"No, we're still waiting on facial rec from CPIC." Kim sighed and her laptop beeped a few seconds later. "Here we go. Okay, Tito Sanchez, multiple priors: weapon, distro, agg assault. Pretty much your garden variety Los Temidos."

"All right, as soon as Adam or Kev says 'all good,' that's our positive and we crash." Ana murmured into her radio.

Whether she was trying to remind them or herself, no one really knew.

"It's mostly boss money, shouldn't take long." Hank added, quietly.

Suddenly shots were ringing through the air and Kim hopped out of the vehicle. The brunette went to follow but her husband stopped her almost immediately.

"Not a chance in Hell." He muttered. "Look, Ruz and Kev'll be fine. I'll make sure of it."

"That's one promise you better keep, Henry Voight." Ana swallowed.

Hank just pecked her on the lips before rushing out after their Officer.

*A Few Minutes Later*

The two Sergeants were staring at the broken glass of a car window where a civilian was hit by a stray bullet.

"Found a crowbar in the basement, boiler room door pried open. Looks like the crew holed up there." Adam reported as he joined them and the rest of the team.
