*Still in the Voights' Covert Vehicle*
"Hailey got hit by the explosion. Offender's in the wind. Tell me we got Escano." Jay pleaded.
"Driver didn't make it." Adam reported. "Guys, this was coordinated. Escano's going scorched earth. We need to get on Anna."
Hank grabbed the phone from his wife and pressed it to his ear, not even bothering to check the screen as he stomped down on the gas pedal.
"Kev, where's Escano?" Ana inquired via radio.
"He's in the money house. He hasn't moved." The Officer replied. "I still got eyes, Sarge."
The brunette suddenly grabbed ahold of the handle above her head as her husband made a sharp left. He shot her an apologetic glance but she just waved him off right as Anna finally picked up on the other end.
"What?" She snapped.
"Pull over. Pull over right now." Hank practically yelled into the receiver.
"What? Why?" The young woman asked in confusion. "What's going on?"
"I will be right there." He assured. "Just stay low and pull over."
"Henry!" Ana called, pointing at the other side of the road.
"Wait, I see you. I'm heading your way." The older man hung up and swerved across all the lanes before coming up side by side with Anna's car. "Open your door. Open your door! Open your door now!"
"Get in!" The brunette urged, reaching over and opening their back door. "Now!"
"Stay low! Get down! Get down!" Hank growled, looking back at her.
"What are you doing? What is happening?" The CI cried.
"Get down! Stay beneath the windows." He instructed, backing up a bit before making a left.
"Okay, okay." She conceded, laying down.
"We have Anna en route to the 21st. Bluejay, is Hailey okay? Jay!" Ana resorted to using his real name when he didn't respond right away the first time.
"What the Hell is going on, Voight?" The younger woman demanded. "What is going on?"
"Escano got ahead of us. You're burnt. This whole thing is burnt." Hank revealed, shaking his head.
*District 21: Basement/Garage*
"Is she all right, Bluejay? Can she hear yet?" Ana wondered, hopping out of the car the second it came to an abrupt stop.
She rushed over to a control panel near the garage doors and hit a button to close them while Hank helped his CI out of the back of their vehicle.
"Come on, stay with me." He murmured.
"Coming back slow, but she's okay. In the ambo now, on the way to Rush." Jay finally replied a few seconds later.
"Copy you. Kev, I need a 20 on Escano." The brunette requested, racing towards the Tech Office with the other two right behind her.
"Come on, stay with me. Anna, let's go!" Hank urged, finally getting the frightened woman to move with him.
"Kev!" Ana yelled, having not gotten a response.
"Hasn't moved." The Officer reported.
"All right, drop an anchor. Do not lose him." The brunette ordered.
