*District 21: Computer Room*
"We've been working on Los Temidos for five weeks. All we got is the name 'El León,' and a blank mark on a board. Tell us we got something off this body." Hank demanded, pacing in front of Ana slightly.
The brunette, herself, was perched on a corner of the table closest to her husband.
"Our Doe from the landfill popped with Missing Persons. Name is Miguel Vicente. He's 19 years old. Been working two jobs to support his folks." Adam explained while Kevin taped his picture up to a whiteboard. "His dad's on disability. His mom's a laid-off hotel worker. Parents reported him missing two days ago. He's got zero gang affiliations. No sheet. I mean, the kid's been living right."
"Okay, so how does he tie with Temidos?" Ana wondered.
"We're thinking through his cousin, Pedro. Pedro is a two-bit thief with an extensive sheet, lookin' like he roped his cousin, Miguel, into the family business." Kim replied, handing his photo over to the dark skinned Officer who then taped it up right next to the other one. "Area 4 Robbery is looking at Miguel and Pedro as persons of interest in three recent cash armed robberies."
"Maybe they upped their game, they ripped a Temidos' stash house." Jay speculated from Ana's left with a small shrug.
"Eh, I doubt they're that stupid." Hank muttered.
"Guys." Hailey called as she rushed into the room. "OCD Tech Lab just pinged Pedro's phone to an address in Pilsen."
The two Sergeants exchanged a quick glance.
"Hit it." They ordered.
*Right Outside of Said Address*
"So the DOA is Pedro Vicente. They beat him, then they shot him in the stomach. I mean, this guy suffered. Ice pick to seal the deal." Jay reported after coming out of the house with Hailey right behind him and spotting the two Voights standing at the end of the walkway.
"Get anything linked to Los Temidos inside?" Hank wondered as they all moved a few feet away. "Drugs? Boss money?"
"No, nothin'" The blonde shook her head.
"So once again, we are dead in the water." The older man sighed.
"Hey, Kev." Ana greeted, cracking a small smile behind her mask as he walked over. "Any witnesses?"
"Yeah, I got a neighbor that said they heard loud pop, glanced out the window, and saw a black truck leaving." The Officer nodded.
"Okay, good. You three work cams, Soundex all black pickups in the area." Hank ordered.
"Copy that." Jay murmured, heading off with Kevin and Hailey in tow.
"Guys!" Kim called right before the Sergeants could do the same. "We got something."
She led them over to Adam who was waiting by the garage side-door.
"I think this car's our connect to Los Temidos." He explained, opening it to reveal a car on the other side.
Ana just motioned for him to continue while taking a peek inside the vehicle.
"So we got drug traps on both seats, and the field test was positive for heroin residue." Kim revealed.
"Pedro's car?" Hank guessed, looking up at her from where they where shining flashlights on opposite ends of the backseat.
"No, that's where it gets good." She shook her head. "Car's registered to a Blanca Consuela."
The older man grunted in return.
"So Blanca works at a Mexican bakery chain called Cárabo." Adam informed, pulling a box from said bakery out of the trunk. "Two days ago, it was robbed by two dudes. Description matches Miguel and Pedro to a T."
