Chapter 4: Conceal

Y/N'S POV

Today's the day we fight the ruthless leader of the Russian mob. I'm not very familiar with the tension between him and the port mafia but I'm sure it's huge since Chuuya is warming up.

Chuuya: you nervous?

He asked while stretching his arm. Never saw him stretch this much.

"who wouldn't be, didn't they plant bombs in the corners of this building"

Chuuya: mhm, unfortunately for them, we have also have guards in every corner.

"hm, well that does make me feel safe"

Apart from the fact that this place  is literally a mafia.

Chuuya: you remember what we're going to do, right?

"yes! Don't worry, I won't make us fail  this time"

Chuuya: tch, don't pressure yourself too much.

He's so nice, makes me wonder what his relationship with Dazai is.

As we walked over to the abandoned garage where we agreed to meet, I felt the need to ask him why Dazai hates him so much that he constantly can't stop talking about him.

"So I met Dazai-san the other day"

Chuuya: you what? Are you okay?

"mm, yeah. All we did was eat ramen together"

Chuuya: if I were you, I'd have that ramen checked before eating it. You never know if that bastard poisoned it or worse, breathed near it.

"well, I'm still alive and I feel fine. He even paid for our meal though it wasn't his money"

Chuuya: what an idiot. Geez, if he starts annoying you, just tell me.

He's not necessarily bothering me actually. All he did was ask me to eat with him sometimes and I don't think I'd die if I eat ramen right?

"alright, um thanks Chuuya. Is he really that bad?"

Chuuya: ohoho don't even get me started! That jerk did so many unforgivable things to me.

"like what?"

Chuuya: called my hat ugly, said I drink wine too much and that I'm not responsible enough to adopt a dog.

That's it?

Chuuya: oh also he tried to kill me countless times.

There it is.

Chuuya: But I try as much as him.

"can't you easily kill him?"

Chuuya: of course I can. It's just that the mafia needs him sometimes, like a sacrifice if things go bad.

"what a poor guy"

Chuuya: whatever, let's stop talking about that fool. We're almost there, keep alert.

I got distracted for a while. The plan is simple though, the Russian leader has the ability to conceal himself which makes him almost invisible and hard to spot for a few seconds only. He's known for using the same tactics wherein he goes invisible and then proceeds to attack his opponent from the back.
It sure is troublesome but is easy to defeat since c'mon. It's Chuuya we're talking about but the problem is he tends to escape and that's easy for him since it's his specialty.

So what I do..

"Psychokinesis!" I yelled as I activated my ability to lift him as soon as he appeared in front of us. Sure, he can go invisible but I can feel his weight as I carry him with my mind so he can't escape from me.

Now Chuuya has a clear target and soon, he attacked him using his gravity manipulation. But of course, even after we defeated him, he had backups who had machine guns ready to fire.

"Chuuya, we gotta go"

Chuuya: bring him to the Port Mafia, I'll take care of things here.
