"Get the twins for me."

"Elder Hyuk. Please. Spare Jay and Kay." Helena, the twin's aunt, begged him.

The 18 year old twins were held captive by a few vampires from the Jung Clan, the most powerful vampire clan existing. Words spread that the two had distinctive powers amongst vampires; seeing visions of the future. And words reached the ears of The Council, the law body overruling the entirety of the vampires.

"Gifts like this should never be hidden in the council Helena." Elder whispered to her as his hand trailed on her neck. "The fact that you turned them as vampires before the age of 7 is a sin against the council already."

"They were dying because of famine. I cannot let them die. They are my sister's children. I am sorry elder. I am sorry. Give me a pass this time. Please." Helena pleaded frantically.

"Don't worry, the twins will be in very good hands. I'll make sure they will be taken good care of by the council, especially their gifts."

The Elder faced the vampires holding Helena.

"Behead her." He whispered. Walking away from Helena's house as the vampires behead her, the rest of the council members took the twins away.

"I never had anyone in the clan with gifts like yours." Elder exclaimed to the twins. "Vision and prophecy." His voice registered anticipation.

The 100 year old Elder had been known to be ruthless and merciless since his reign on the Council, gathering gifted and powerful vampires, forming his own army. His weird obsession with power made him become a monster. A gruesome monster one could only imagine. And any threat he saw on his reign over the clan, he would do all his might to eliminate them.

"Tell me about your gifts."

Jay and Kay, his latest discoveries, are now under the Council, after they are being taken away forcefully from their Aunt Helena.

None of the twins speak.

And in a flash, Kay's body was in the air, Elder's one hand lifting her like a doll, his nails digging on her neck as he gripped it tighter. Fear and agony showed on Kay's face, and Jay grunted in anger.

"Let go of my sister."

"Speak." Elder's cold and authoritative voice filled the chilly air. Kay's body was rebelling on his powerful grip.

"I will speak, let go of her now."

Elder gave a devilish laugh when he released Kay. "Now tell me."

Jay went to Kay who's still terrified of Elder. He sighed heavily.

"My sister has the vision, and I have the dreams. But it only happened on every rise of the red moon." Jay announced, the council's faces gave surprised looks. He gave the Elder a sharp look. In an instant, Elder was in Jay's front. "Tell me more."

"Kay had to hold your hand so she could read you and give you her visions. And the prophecies were all sent to me through a long dream during red moon-

"And?"

"Her visions and my prophecies all came true, that includes Aunt Helena's death. We saw that just a week ago, when the red moon appeared."

"What an amazing gift!" The Elder exclaimed. "Why didn't you make ways to avoid your Aunt's death then?"

Jay and Kay looked at each other.

"What is it?" The Elder gave a curious look. It was Kay who answered him back.

"We tried. But we couldn't stop it. Aunt Helena still died. No one could defy my visions and my brother's dream, even someone as powerful as you could not stop it."

Deafening silence filled the council hall.

"Nana." He called his right hand vampire. "Bring the twins to their room and instruct them of the house rules. And gather all the council members here in the hallway, I will discuss a very important matter about our clan."
